Hey... We are twins. 🤠
Bart's Specials are amazing, aren't they?

My little swell center jack needed a big brother, so I rounded up a Copperhead in CV and the same "dark" red bone.....
The copperhead is nicely done, with the only "flaws" I've found being a slight gap at one backspring, and the spring is slightly proud on the pen blade when it is open.

Both of mine exhibit a proud back spring on the pen blade when open. If only they had filed the back of the tang juuuuust a little more. I still love the knives.

A final copperhead. Really I'm done View attachment 1826665 I've got like, 30 copperheads between various manufacturers, so why would I ever buy any more 🤔

Anyway its a single blade black pearl kirinite. Really hard to photograph. You wouldn't believe how many I deleted. Change the angle a little bit and it looks completely different. Pretty cool

I really like the single blade and the black Kirinite. The only thing stopping me from picking one up is the big shield that I don’t fancy so much. Stupid reason, I know. Any other shield and I’d have gotten one in a heartbeat. Who knows, I may still. Lol

A few weeks ago, I picked up user natural canvas Micarta #71 Bull Nose off the exchange. Having seen the knife that he gifted to JohnDF JohnDF a while back, and admittedly being a bit jealous of its awesomeness, I reached out to Sacto Sacto to ask if he would do a similar mod for me. Thankfully, he agreed, and it turned out awesome!

Bart thinned out the handles just a bit, rounded off some of the sharper angles around the handle, and modified the drop point into more of a spear(ish) point. This thing feels awesome in hand!

Thanks, Guys.

Arrived yesterday. I feel fancy!

I predict a long love affair with that knife for you.... Case does the swayback jack extremely well... I've narrowed down my own selection of these to three.... technically, two jacks and one gent (single blade). The fit and finish I've seen on those knives is just borderline custom knife quality.
The bone color on yours is just wonderful... it fully rivals my favorite bone, the chestnut...

Thanks for the kind words. I plan on buying a gent, too!

This one is fresh out of the mailbox today. I've been wanting to add a copperhead and when I saw this unique yellow bone with a wharncliffe blade, I couldn't resist. Fit and finish is just ok. The springs aren't totally flush when closed and the spring on the main blade is slightly proud when open. On the good side, the blades are centered, the pins are flush and there are no gaps at the bolsters. Walk and talk is pretty good and it's fairly snappy. I like being able pinch open the main blade. All in all, I'm pleased with it.

A Case Swell Center Jack, one of the 2022 Vault releases. Some minor gaps, but nothing awful. I was on the fence about this Cayenne bone versus the Bonestag version, but the bolsters on this won me over. Also, I think the Bonestag would look better on a larger knife (this is just slightly larger than a Peanut).
