My current EDC with future replacements in brackets:

Surefire E2-HA [E2e-HA]
White Photon 2 [Arc AAA]
Leatherman Wave w/Mini Mag
Leatherman Micra [???]
Generic POS folder :( [Benchmade?]
Casio Watch :( [???]
Ink Pen [Fisher Space Pen]

On top of this, I always have some mints, gum, or breath freshener, spare change, car keys, cel phone, and radio. I often have my Cold Stell Recon Tanto along. I'm currently in need of a good lighter, handgun, and a spy capsule, plus replacements for all of my garbage equipment.

Do you want to sell the E2-HA?

Sure, but I don't know what price you'd be willing to pay. I'm currently looking to sell it to my uncle for pretty close to what I paid. Its not even a month old. Email me!

By the way, what is the appeal with the Motorola StarTac phone ??? A lot of members still use these...why ??

That's because the United States is years behind everywhere else when it comes to adopting cutting edge mobile phone technology :) In the land of plenty, even the mobile phones are heavier.

I'm assuming that StarTac means the old, big ones, not the newer V series.

I'm using a TDMA Nokia 8260 right now, and AT&T seems to have no plans to upgrade to GSM in my area for the time being. So I can't even change companies, since there's no SIM card for me to take out. The 8260 is a fatter, less featured version of the venerable 8210 that's been used in Asian countries for many many years. Bleh. :)

Another reason for using a large phone is that the older, larger phones tend to be stronger. I have an old Ericsson phone that has been thrown several meters, landing on rough concrete, and survived with nothing but small scratches on the case. Embedded screen was never scratched in the 3 years I used it. The thing is a tank, and in a pinch could be used to bean somebody. Who knows, that huge antenna could be used as an "alternative force" device. :)

Always on me stuff:

A decent cheap one hand knife: Could be as nice as BM350 or as cheap as Vapor.

A decent cheap pocket knife: For the forseeable future a Schrade 897UH.

A key ring so thick with keys that even a microlite would be too much.

A Maglite Solitaire in left pocket with Schrade.

A Balistic Nylon Wallet with wallet stuff (very little cash unfortunately).

A hankie.

A Nokia 3360 (I think - it doesn't say on phone) on Cingular.

A Motorola Bravo pager on Arch.

A decent cheap pen. Could be Fisher Space, Papermate Dynagrip SS, Sanford Gel, Pilot etc.

That's it for carry.

I have a truck just stuffed with knives, straps, tape, tools etc. There are a couple pair of Binoculars in there (One pair Nikon 10x50 that are truly awesome!) One pair prescription Polaroid glasses. More flashlites. Tums, asprin, some more writing implements.

And oh Lordy the stuff that surrounds me at home!! Too much to go into! One thing is a Realistic Pro 60 scanner (mostly listen to the city cops for my area).
