i was a huge ZT fan and I still admire their machining capabilities but the only ZT I still have in my collection is the 0452CF.
The Sinkevich design is amazing 😍
I have installed skiff bearings on mine and the action is great

I managed to snag a 50th anniversary Tilt. It’s funny, but after several hours a run of less than 500 is still available to buy!

I expected these to be gone in minutes.

Still some available @ ~5pm PT.

Did a test checkout. $500 + 43.75 tax. Free UPS shipping but not worth it to me.

I've got an original Tilt, which is sufficient.

Yea, Lord knows I don't need any more $500+ safe queens on the pile 😂

If I had an original Tilt, it might be different. I’ve always wanted one and this seemed like the best chance. I agree that $500 for a Kershaw is a lot, but there’s an insured rarity with less than 500 made. When a LNIB OG Tilt comes on the secondary it sells for almost the same price with inferior materials. The limited run Tilt with CF and Vanax sells for more.

Frankly, with the inflation that’s hit luxury goods, NO knives higher than ~$150 are worth the sum of their parts.

Also, I’m lucky enough to have a 40th Anniversary Ruby and Skyline and a 30th Anniversary Field, so the collection grows.

None of my knives are Safe Queens; each one is available to use. Now, when I carry a knife I consider irreplaceable, I’ll usually have a back up that can do any heavy cutting work.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to getting this Tilt in hand, I’ll share my thoughts. When ZT/Kershaw set out to impress, they usually succeed. The Ruby was a very well made knife but was unfortunately ugly, lol.

Well, I’m impressed. This might be the best work KAI has done under either the Kershaw or ZT brand.

The finishing is exemplary, the action is some of the best. There’s not an angle, edge or surface that hasn’t received attention. This almost feels too nice to carry and I rarely feel that way.

I’m shocked about how big it is! I never had a Tilt, so I was unprepared. Almost 9.5” long!

That was quick! Congrats! 🥳

Looks better in your pics than in Kershaw's promo photos but I still don't regret not buying 1 for myself.

It's not like I don't already have enough knives. LOL! ;)

I knew there were 2 Tilts -- the original & the recent 50th Aniversary release but I didn't know there were 3.

These 3 just went on sale as a group on the Exchange & I'll be interested to see if they sell or not. See: Tilt Trifecta
