Luckily smkw has some left, just ordered one!, along with another 0909 from knifecenter, because the price was too good to pass up. I’m thinkin someday the 909 will be viewed like the 0200/0300 series, being one of the last truly “tank-like” knives lol
 
a certain smoky mountain knife store has some 0804CF's CPM20CV for $199 ZT posted it on both instagram and FB .i bought one last night that's a steal of a price (even lower than our exchange)

they must really be trying to purge their overstock of S35VN .. hard to buy a knife in a lesser steel when most of the originals are 20CV

Misconception about "overstock" (I made the mistake too), they have several models still in production where S35VN is still standard (0450, 0452, 0055, 0801, 0095) so it's not really overstock and simply using their more established steel in newer models. For...reasons.
 
If the end cost to the consumer was significantly less for the S35vn sprint this would be interesting. But this is less understandable, and almost seems like market research.

Boy this price is so tempting...I have been trying hard to resist. Tell me something negative about this knife so that I can save $200.

Not a chance.. i waited 3 years to buy it and the second i flipped it open i regretted waiting so long... It's easily top 3 of my collection and with way more than i payed for it

I think I quite like the looks of that "white" cf, though you really need to see it with your own eyes to judge properly.

Carbon fiber cannot be colored. It's a carbon composite between cf and another material that can be dyed or the epoxy is colored.

I wish they would say that instead of calling it carbonfiber which is misleading.
 
I just ordered one of those 0452wbw’s, and I can’t wait to get it. It’ll probly go right in the safe but it’s an awesome design of my favorite knife....just wish they used 20cv or something. Oh well, the m390 0452’s will probly still always be worth the most $$$ anyway and that’s cool with me cuz I have a couple :-D
