Zero tolerance..the way to go?

If you are into steel options, nobody beats Spyderco. If your into getting the most for your money, Spyderco is hard to beat (most of the time). If you want a beefy, awesome, smooth flipping titanium frame lock, ZT is your guy. Honestly you can't go wrong with any of the main 3. Especially if you stick to the popular models.

As many have said, ZT are outstanding knives and really good values. I love my 0566CF. For fixed blades, check out LT Wright and Bark River. I like both very much.

As with any quality knife, you really can't go wrong with a ZT as long as you find a design that appeals to you. Excellent workmanship and materials, and a great warranty too.

I know of someone who just so happens to have a Spyderco Manix 2 with a s110v blade installed.

PM me if your interested.

Aside from that, I haven't heard too much on the negative side for ZT that their CS dept wouldn't take care of.

I have the 0560BW and the 0350 OR. Love them both. The 0620 is a tanto style blade if you still like them. Personally, I want the new 0562 CF next.

Don't be jelly.

I just think that the person that bestowed the title upon you was misinformed and didnt do the proper research...that and the fact I had to work today and didnt have a chance to be on the forum to say how wonderful ZT is.

Hmmm, well damn I think I'm actually gonna have to get either a Spyderco yojimbo2 or perrin ppt!!! Those look baaaaaaaad!!!

Yeahhhhh...you could do that. Or you could just go with the classics. PM2, military, or Manix 2. Spyderco sure does get weird with some of their knives and the 2 you mention are nowhere near the top of that list. Still I think every knife nut needs to get their hands on the 3 I mentioned at some point.

I've just been getting into collecting knives, my last purchase a week ago a Benchmade 375 D2. I am really into these premium alloys and I am looking to purchase another one soon. For what I've been looking into for the price and type of knives I am into, it would seem Zero Tolerance would be very hard to beat as far as quality of steel and price! I know there are tons of threads on different steel alloys and such but I would love to hear and learn from you all here about the types of steel ZT uses that do seem quite amazing, and if there are in fact other knives or brands that I may want to look into that would compare with ZT on quality and price? Very excited to get some learn on!

to elaborate a little more on my previous post. I'm considering going Zero Tolerance exclusively other than customs. I started with Spyderco and I Love them but for the money I just feel like im getting more from comparable ZT knives. Don't get me wrong.... Spyderco has some stunners but the entire ZT line is just awesome :)

my current ZT lineup is the S110V ZT0801 and the incoming 0392. Next purchase will most likely be theM390 0350(always wanted to check out the 0350). I like the 0630 but im waiting for a bowie variant of the 06XX Emerson series. They have a fantastic warranty and excellent CS. They will replace a broken blade on a regular production folder for 30 bucks last I checked.... LE blades aren't replaceable. I'm guessing you'll never need to replace a blade

totally agree with you on these! Best bang for the buck folder out right now(my opinion) is the gayle bradley

ZT's biggest fanboy
