ZT is top notch. If you are looking at others I suggest taking a gander at Fallkniven folders. The steels used are phenomenal( 3G & Lam CoS) and really don't get their due. I'm a fan of their fixed blades too.

ZT makes some high quality stuff! I pass on most of their blades because I can't stand big bulky designs. If you like the way they look/feel I'd jump right one the ZT train!

Just bought an 0301 about a moth ago and it rides my pocket everyday. toughest folder I've ever owned ill probably scoop up an 0300 before they are all gone since they are on the endangered list.

ZT makes an outstanding product and stands behind it.

In my time I've owned an 0551, 2 0550s, 2 0561s, an 0566 and an 0566BW, an 0801 and an 0770. I just can't seem to stop buying their knives.

I think you'll be fine with any ZT you choose.

On a side note, I just got a Yojimbo 2 and think it's the bees knees

I love the ZT 550, probably still my favorite blade. I own 3 and have owned a total of 5. I took a break from carrying one for a while, going over to try some other blades but I just traded into a satin finish gen 3 and it has bumped everything else out for now.

I also own several other ZT knives, including an 801, 566, 2 560s, 770, 2 300 series, a 650, and the 550s. I would highly recommend any of them to anyone looking for a good blade.

You will like some of the smaller ones coming out this year. ZT is a great company that is always building high quality knives for us, and I think that they are the best at what they do, hands down.

all depends on what you want! I have seen enough knives to know that there are nice quality knives among all the top brands, benchmade, spyderco, zt, boker. just ask questions like you are doing and you can't go wrong! zt is an awesome folder for sure!

If you are into steel options, nobody beats Spyderco. If your into getting the most for your money, Spyderco is hard to beat (most of the time). If you want a beefy, awesome, smooth flipping titanium frame lock, ZT is your guy.

Of course, I like ZT a lot. But, Spyderco is my true love...

...and that is exactly how I feel, although the great share of this nice stack is long gone...

Yep. Among the major manufacturers and based on the number of models currently available, you are correct. And in Scurvy's defense, I'd have to say that ZT consistently makes a quality product. So while a fan of ZT might have a tendency to go a bit over the top, they wouldn't be straying too far from reality for doing so.
