Zt 0392 blu bowie

It has arrived!! Perfect!! Super fast flippin action, flawless fit and finish. The hardware is mirror finish. I have pics but they are on my phone.

ugh!! they're on my phone!! I don't have the Facegram or Instabook or Flukrpic or whatever!

I think the 0392 blue bowie is really great looking. I like the blade, the shape, the profile of the whole knife. It's surprisingly impressive for ZT considering some of the more hideous things I've seen come out of them in the past six months (and I'm a ZT fan). I really like it but for the $400 pricepoint, I would rather spend the extra $20 and buy a Hinderer XM-18. I'm sure the Titanium is what's causing a lot of the price, among other things...maybe once the hype dies down there'll be some good deals. Not opposed to using one, just not doing ZT for $400.

I did buy it for looks. Just like the other 2 pictured. I have about 16 other knives that I carry at various times. My ZT 0301 and my ZT 0620cf are carried for work. I have to say the handle shape of the 0392 is the best feeling folder I have next to the Kershaw Spec Bump . Too bad it'll never go to work.

Really wishing for a G10 version in the $200-$250 range. The ZT 0560 and ZT 0561 were about that price. C'mon Kershaw, I'll buy one in each color.

XM-18 3.5" Bowie is $450 and the titanium scale is another $200. So, you're looking at $650 versus $400 for the 0392BLUBOWIE.

Wow super fast shipping from Knivesshipfree. I was worried about the tip being thin but it is not at all

Received mine today also. Great knife my only issue is i think it has too much hardware distracting the overall looks. But is a great knife. Very well made as expected from ZT.

Thats a good looking knife, just cant drop 400$ on a ZT. Hoping they do some runs for us regular folks. The first 392 with G10 would suit me just fine and a choil would be super!

I see there still plenty in stock from GoingGear and HouseOfBlades after been released for 3 days
this model is a total failure for ZT
But I don't feel bad for them. ZT abused 0392 way too far.

LOL...

Like ZT gives two craps. They've sold them all to dealers.

Knifeworks had a limited edition version of the Benchmade AFCK that they had some straggling models in stock FOREVER to the point that they had to discount them heavily to clear them out. We're talking months if not years.

I don't think you'll find anyone out there who would claim the AFCK was a failure and that model if you try to buy it now is way above the original selling price, let alone the steep closeout price.

not sure if you understand market or not.
if dealers cannot sell, they won't order that many next time.

A knife doesn't have to instantly sell out to be a success. Plenty of people love this model and continue to buy it. The flippers are staying away because there hasn't been a crazy secondary market profit return which helps keep them in Stock longer.
