I'm not arguing over 9 seconds, I'm arguing over the fact that 4 minutes and 6 seconds is an ungodly quick time to sell ~280 pieces, and 4 hours and 15 minutes (which is how the format of '4:15' would traditionally be understood) is far more believable when the website was saying that there were knives available until almost 9pm Pacific time. Either that or I'm to believe ZT took my money and the money of untold others to hold on to for a few days, get our hopes all up, and then refund our money days later saying "oops sorry, they were all sold in 4 minutes, don't know why our system continued selling them for 4 hours longer"?

Apparently you didn't read about being able to put one in your cart for 15 minutes and being held for you. Some people F'd up the system by just putting one in their cart with no intention of ever buying one. What I find utterly hilarious, is your avatar says "death to whiners". Kind of ironic, isn't it?

Ok, looking from your standpoint, not knowing if you are getting one, my bad sir. I would probably be freaking out too if I didn't know.

I think it's believable that all the knives were placed in a cart under 5 mins, but I know they weren't all sold.

I've been out of the game a little bit lately, and my buddy let me know yesterday what was going on. He text me around 9:30 EST and said, "Did you get one?" I completely forgot about it, but after going to the site at 9:45 and attempting to add it to my cart on 5 different browsers and 3 different computers I finally was able to get one. Charged in full and awaiting shipping.
 
I am a noob, so my opinion does not count, but I think it is ugly! (Yes I have other ZTs and love 'em)

I got an email yesterday afternoon that my order had been cancelled and to give them a call. It was a problem of the CC I used not matching up with the shipping information, so today I have to have the cardholder call and confirm his information. Hopefully they didn't irreversibly nix my order because of a botched payment method without giving me the chance to correct it first...

Why were you using a credit card that wasn't yours though?

I fail to see that being on the company. Sounds like not all the ducks were in a row before hand.
Don't mean to come across harsh and I hope it works out for you but I wouldn't be placing the blame on anyone but myself.

#1 - they warned 7-10 days
#2 - we're talking about a company that normally ships pallets. Consider this a favor.
 
I just got an email that said my order was not complete, despite them already taking the funds and status saying shipping soon. So I called Kai Canada and they confirmed my order was completed and payed for and shipping soon but had no idea about the email. I was told to call back at 9am pacific when Kai USA is open to find out what the issue is.
 
On a side note:
I didn't know what UTC meant for the order confirmation so I looked it up. Here's their explaination. It's actually 4 hours ahead of East coast time.
