My excellent and striking 0454 Serial# 0302 arrived on time. Props on very careful packaging, the black box and the zippered pouche.

Amazingly light at just 4.26 ounces for a 4.11" blade. Blade thickness is 0.155" and behind the edge it's 0.038". The handle is 0.589" thick and the CF thickness is 0.183".

Blade is sharp, centered and the grind & swedge even.

Very smooth flipper action that fires very reliably and but not as snappy like the 0801 series. Closer to the 0777.

The carbon fiber is another excellent example like the great CF on the 0777 series providing texture for traction.

Another excellent LE by ZT. Well done indeed!

I flipped mine as the package was dropped off at my door...I have no reason to have a knife this expensive that I would never use to cut anything, plus it's just to large to edc

Good thing it took you buying it and waiting to actually figure that out. :p

Off to UPS I go as I have a 9:00 pm appointment to pick mine up due to my long work hours.I will find out shortly what all the hoo-ha is about.......

As far as picking either 0777 or 0454 for EDC my choice would be the 0454 because it gives you an extra third of an inch blade length but most importantly to me is the noticeably narrower width for the pocket. 0454 is 1.169" vs. 1.642" for the 0777.

My knife is in hand and this thing is bad ass.The box is a nice touch.Serial number is above 400 for those interested in such things.IT flips similar to the 0600, but with less swack if that makes sense. It's quite lightweight for a larger folder.Everything looks good on my initial inspection, but I am tired so good night.

Did I read that correctly? It's 0.038" behind the edge?!

Came home to seeing my new ZT 0454! It is perfect, that is all I can say. Much better in person than I realized, the CF pop is amazing. I will take some awesome pictures soon!

Here you go!

Just got mine. Hot damn, this feels like a hell of a knife. Lighter than you expect, looking at it, and it carries very well (about like a slightly thicker, rounder Benchmade 710). Mine is serial number 344, incidentally.

Here is a quick first photo of mine:

Mine showed up as well. Its an awesome knife for sure, but its not kicking the 777 out of my pocket.

Few crappy quick pics

It's early, but at this point I'm pretty sure I disagree--I think I prefer the 0454 to the 0777. It's bigger, but it carries way better than the 0777 because it's half as wide.
