Correct. And because of all the pissing and moaning over stuff like this, you can expect to never again hear the detailed info we did on this knife. When KAI comes out with a new piece, you'll see it at the retail level; I wouldn't except them to release early info again.

Shame that a few morons can ruin it for the rest of us, but that's life. The trolls have won for now...but what have they gained in their victory? Squat is the correct answer. KAI will still do their thing and there will be plenty of people waiting in line for their products.

All true methinks...

Do I need to go down to to mall thats a 30 minute drive for me and take a picture of the knives that are SIN above #1000? So your telling me that KAI only let out 1000.... so they threw out some pieces in between 0 and 1398 to make 1000? I have post this in multiple places to voice an opinion. I will be going to get a couple blades soon. I will take some pics of the model 0560CBCF in serial numbers above #1000

I know it's not true but I would like to believe that the slightly increased production on the 0560cbcf is to screw over all the predators who jumped on multiples in hopes of flipping them for big profits.

In my mind, if you really just want one to have one, why would you care if there are 900, 1000 or 1500? If anything you should be more greatful that you had a better chance of getting the knife than you would have had.

I'm sure there are a few people out there wringing their hands about getting one of the 250 888 or 888MAX so they can flip it for a profit but I think most of us would be very pleased if more than 250 of each hit the streets so more people have the chance of owning the knife.

I actually have 2 of them, all under #1000. Just was a shame to see that I owned less of a rare item, as was listed. When I thought it would be, infact, 1000. For someone that spends a lot of their salary on sports, recreation, and knives... It matters to me. I would Imagen other collectors as well...

It seems you guys are feeling in debt to these companies, and need to pay some kind of due to them. I spent $400 (~ 13 working hours, before taxes) on a knife. If anything, there is not a single ounce of gratuity that I need to pay to KAI for getting one (as Scurvy092 felt opposite about). I leave it on this note. If the 888MAX or 888 is relased with over 250 pieces each... That is KAI spitting in the face of the knife community for a profit. Not the 2 hand market guys. The secondary market may see these knives for over the MSRP or retail cost.... but just remember KAI makes the highest percentage of profit on these blades by far.

I hope they double their future limited releases, just so twice as many people can get their hands on one. They make really cool knives, and as someone who appreciates them, I'm happy when other folks can appreciate them as well.

Are you gonna post in every ZT0560CBCF thread? Do you even own one?

To voice my opinion, ya I will. And I own 2... soon to be more after the infamous "pay check" comes. And to make It clear. Not to sell them, to enjoy them. And actually carry one day to day.

So your telling me that KAI only let out 1000.... so they threw out some pieces in between 0 and 1398 to make 1000?

Actually, I think that is what they are saying...............and I don't think its beyond the possibility that KAI had some blems in a very difficult to make knife and instead of releasing blems, they just continued on with production and hid some higher numbers OR they produced 1500 or so blades for the possibility of blems occurring and they are releasing however many came out ok, whether it be as few as 1000 or as many as 1499. I don't think that is beyond belief.

ALSO:

For the gentleman who said that the 0888 and 0888Max aren't going to be released until December. That may be the case, but I've got 3 different sources saying that it will be much sooner than that. I'd keep my money in the bank if I were you.

"I have post this in multiple places to voice an opinion." "To voice my opinion"

"That is KAI spitting in the face of the knife community for a profit"

"That is just plain horse sh-- from a company"

"there is not a single ounce of gratuity that I need to pay to KAI for getting one"

You will get better results trying a softer approach. We are in the Kershaw ZT sub because we are fans of their product and dont like when new folks show up to whine. That has resulted in nothing good. Maybe you dont want to make friends here, thats fine. So far I don't like you. Nothing good has come from you yet, but if you have an opinion that needs to be heard for the greater good to save us fools from screwing up please share

I just want to say that I absolutely love the 0560CBCF! Thanks again KAI for making such an awesome product!!!

Yes, because people that aren't morons know the truth. 950 were released as said by ThomasW. Now go drink bleach kthx.

Yes. exactly. What if it was re-released in 6 months. Do you think people collecting them for value would be happy. Just words for though

I have just purchased the 0560CBCF, and am extremely happy with it. Everyone in the fine knife community, has been lead to believe that this line of limited editions, is only for 1000 pieces. This line is gone well past 1000 pieces. Just walked to S&R Knives in Toronto Ontario, and got a #0819. But they had some on the shelf that went too #1398!!! I am so disappointed in Zero Tolerance. I mean, when Spyderco discontinues a knife, it is definitely, absolutely, discontinued. They say it will happen, and it dose. This shows an large amount of respect to the consumers and collectors of the knives they love and collect. However, Zero is jumping well over the line with this.... they said 1000, and are making more. Very disrespectful to the collectors, that knew there would be 1000. This leaves me to wounder, if my 0350 Orange was a true 1 of 1000 piece production... or if there were more. I am a big supporter of Spyderco and Benchmade because of their dedication to the people who but the knives (especially limited and sprint runs). Buying a 0560CBCF and seeing the addition of "extra" pieces to a limited production run that I spent $400 on, has made me second guess my beliefs in ZT. Great products.. but I hate to see morals and greed take a company. Could you Imagen Spyderco announced a sprint run, sold all the pieces, and then 6 months later re-launched the sprint run. Whats the difference here?
So, you're getting all upset because ZT made 398 more (as far as we know as of now) 0560CBCF's than 1,000? That's ridiculous.

1000 pieces isn't even what I would consider low production.

It's not like they were ever going to be super rare to begin with.

If you want to collect for value and rarity, I would suggest moving one to other knives.

I am very happy that the knife was produced and will enjoy the one that I have #066.I was lucky enough to have a nice person on this board purchase one to pass to me at the exact price the dealer charged.I hope ZT makes another run so I will have a chance to purchase another for non-flipper price. I would love to see a S110v non laminated version run at the top end of the HRC scale.Thank you ZT for producing the beautiful 0560cbcf !!!
