Zt 0900. What a great little knife.

Cool little ZT, but adding a flipper would crowd my XL glove sized hands. I'd rather have a modest groove like the Dice as shown above. I can do smaller knives, but not ones that have flipper protrusions.

Yeah I got to get one of these. I was looking at the Techno but the price turned me off...

The 0900 is cheaper, has a flipper, and a steel lockbar insert. I think we've got a winner. Although it's more aggressive looking than the Techno so that might be a problem depending on your location

Should be my first titanium frame lock :)

The Techno costs $20 less than the zt. At one point the Techno was down to $150.

You know, I hadn't thought of that. I have medium hands and I think it would be an issue for me. Not really any way to choke up on it comfortably

Yeah, this is the reason I have not been buying flippers over the last few years. They (flipper tab/extension) also seem to be getting larger. I understand why, easier to manipulate etc, but unless it's a fairly large knife or the flipper is modestly sized, I'm moving on.

Here are some comparison shots of my 0900 with a small Kizer and a Spyderco Dice.

I love my 0900, but a handle maybe a 1/4" longer would have been great. My Dice has a great handle that gives me a four finger grip. A DPX Heat I recently sold also had a great handle for a small knife.

All these size comparisons are great, but does anyone have a small sebenza to take a pic next to. Im very close to pulling the trigger on this thing, just got a HEST and now Im probably going to liquidate to grab this thing...it looks like "the one" ...maybe!

That Kizer of mine is very close to a small Sebenza in size.

Aw crap. Sorry about that. Could you shoot one of it next to the full size recon? I have that one too.

love this knife!! Isn't this knife legal to carry just about everywhere?

It's a .25" too long for Chicago and maybe Cleveland, but other than that, 2.75" should be cool almost anywhere in the USA except places like NYC, where the cops don't seem to like one handlers from what I have heard.

Got mine last Friday. Great little knife, built like a warthog. Perfect EDC. Unfortunately on Sunday the detent ball fell out. I'm now waiting to get it back.

Have the ZT0900 on the way. This will be ZT number 11 for me. To me they are a great value, with lots of variations, and made in the USA. What's not to like

I've been carrying my 0900 since I got it. It really is a fantastic little knife. I really didn't know what to expect with this one (haven't handled any Les George designs, and don't have any of these stubby tank genre of folders), but I am very impressed with this one.

This was my first ZT purchase, but it definitely won't be my last. Really impressed with this little guy.

Man, all this is good to hear...mine arrives tomorrow and I'm a little worried that the blade shape is too rounded for the utility tasks I wanted it for, but since it's my first "high-end" knife I'm excited!

Also: no one is bummed about the lack of a backspacer? Just curious how it affects the feel when really cranking on it...
