Was the blade steel confirmed yet? I might have missed it.

It looks like this knife is about the same size as the 0801. I'm thinking I might hold off on the 0801 for this.
 
The blade steel was confirmed, I believe, at m390 and blade length is about equal to the 0560 In my opinion from Blade
 
Nice, m390 is awesome. I suppose given the price it had to be something good.

The overall length is just a tad longer than the 0801 but it does have more cutting edge. Blade to handle ratio would be higher. Overall length of the 0560 is 8.80" where this guy is 8.25". I'd love to see a shot of this next to a 0801.

The weight is relatively low because the insides of the Eklipse were skeletonized.

The blade grind on the ZT 0392 looks much simpler and thus less expensive.

This is definitely a beautiful knife!
 
Am very much anticipating a pre-order frenzy. Guess I need to check every day to make sure not to miss out! Seriously gonna sell a bunch of lesser specimens to fund this one.
 
Does anyone know what the blade stock thickness will be? I'm hoping it isn't crazy thick--I sold my 0561 because the geometry was just too obtuse.

If it's like the Eklipse that it's based on then the blade thickness of the 0393 will be about 0.165" which is slightly greater than 0561.
 
0392, 0562... No lanyard holes? Whaaaaaat?! I am not a fan of deep carry pocket clips without lanyard holes.
 
That's true, but it sits strangely with me. Kind of like making a family sedan without cup holders.

I wouldn't call the pocketclip on the 392 a deep carry by any stretch. It's about as non-deep carry as it gets imo.
 
The clip is the same one from Hinderers XM series, in my opinion i agree with Mayenard
 
These are going to be a big hit for sure. Limited production will make it difficult to get but well worth the price if you can get it direct from a dealer. That being said, if you ZT guys think you have some rabid fans, being so close to an actual Hinderer in production quality (RHK hardware), will also attract us rabid Hinderer fans and make it even more difficult to get. Just be ready with that debit card and keep your eyes peeled. Don't hesitate one second or you will probably end up paying a huge markup on the secondary market!
