Not as nice as some of the gill posted previously. A mess of 21 shown above, and it is mostly made up of green blugill and a few pumpkinseeds. Keep them coming guys.

Eric,

They still taste great no matter what the size. Nice looking stringer of tasty ones.

Anyone out there having luck with rockbass this year?

Two "mountain" lake trout caught Sunday by my buddy at Copperas Pond, near Lake Placid, NY. He was fishing out of a 29# kayak. I was fishing off the shore, I got nothing. He caught these using a Rapela minnow lure.

We had to climb about 800 feet up a dry stream bed to get to this glacial pond, which is about 500 yards long.

Edit: Down below us, on the west branch of the Ausable River, we counted seven fly fisherman within 100 yards of each other. Kind of like watching bears at a salmon run :D

Pictured is my neice with her first and second ever catches. One is a shark, and the other is a pretty decent sized Mullet.

I don't post on this thread often, but I do read it alot, so I hope you don't mind me posting. She will get a kick out of it.

Thanks for posting. It had been days since new fish were up. I was getting stir crazy and didnt have anything to contribute. Did she catch that shark in ohio? I didnt know Ohio had sharks.
Taking kids(or adults) fishing is probably the most purely good thing I have ever done. It's my way of making the world a better place, or atleast more to my liking, a tiny increment at a time.

She caught the shark in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. The Outer Banks have several piers up the coast. These two were caught off of Avalon Fishing Pier.

Took my buddy and his kids out for bluegill today. They had a blast and caught a bunch.

Its been awhile since I have been able to contribute to this thread. But yesterday I got out for a lil bit. The overcast day made for some great top water action!!!

Uhm, Tony, you're only supposed to use one lure at a time. :p

I've never seen a bream as big as a small child before. :p
