Oh the humanity...

Overwhelming joy when I see my knife went out on the 8th. Utterly crushed when I got to the Post Office (didn't actually go inside) today and realize that there's not going to be any new mail since I emptied the box yesterday and there's no new mail today (Friday.)

I may have to stop Saturday afternoon after work to see if it accidentally arrived.
 
Thank you so much for your efforts in this fine endeavor! Especially commendable is the fact that you're taking the time to update whose knives have shipped out and when. I'm sure you know, but it's really really appreciated.

Got mine today, what an awesome knife, it'll definitely give my 2009 Forum Barlow competition for pocket space.

Got it late Saturday. My mail carrier usually arrives between 2 and 4, so when it's getting close to 7:00, I was a bit worried. My wife thought I was crazy, checking the mail box so many times. I was tempted to just put the flag up, and then I wouldn't have to keep going out there, as I could see it from the window. I ALMOST had her bring me my dinner on the front porch, so I could be there when it arrived. After dinner at the table with the family, I actually forgot about it for a few minutes, and then remembered, and sprinted down to the mailbox and it was there!

As I opened the package, I was a little disappointed in my family's reaction to the new knife, but I was grinning ear to ear.

Great knife. First GEC, first annual BF knife, and first EO. Only one tiny little complaint. With the strong back-spring, I've gotten a dent in the blade where it hits on closing. It's so tiny that I know it will sharpen out in no time, so no need to do anything with it.

Overall, very pleased.

Once all the knives are shipped, it would be interesting to see the geographical distribution of this years project knife.

Hi Andy. Just thought I'd let you know that my knife arrived today! Mailed on Saturday and arrived on Monday - it don't get any better than that! ;)

I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to You, Chris, Campbell, and Gene for your hard work on this project! This is a gorgeous knife that came together thanks to the forum members here in the Traditional sub-forum. You guys did the heavy lifting though, and my hats off to you! :thumbup:
 
I received mine Saturday. A fanastic job by all. That big spear blade is fantastic and the cap lifter is just perfect. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Hi Folks -

I had to take a break from shipping this evening, but I had a good reason.

My first grandson was born this evening - and I was at the hospital all day!

Clayton is healthy and perfect, and I am tired!

I will make it up tomorrow by getting at least 20 packages ready to go.
