Swedge and rounded bolsters will work for me!
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/
Sheep foot main, pen secondary, nice swedges on both blades, square pinched bolsters, aged ivory micarta scales and extended spring, bar shield. Not bigger than 3 5/8" closed. That would be my choice. Thanks for this year team for the hard work.

Exactly what I would like to see also.
Since it's a Congress Jack there's only two blades. I'm pretty sure they'll be different.
I've taken one of mine and tried to approximate the color of a Westinghouse Ivory micarta off one of my Ken Erickson knives to get a good approximation of what a CJ would look like. Notice that even with plain bolsters it's pretty attractive.

As far as steel choice, I hope D2 will still be considered as it is a carbon, but otherwise would love to see O1 used (52100 or W2/M2etc would be nice but I don't think many companies use it). 1095 has been used enough for a while in my opinion.
It reminds me a starched white shirt, I think it would complement the pattern very knicely.Ted, if they can make the micarta similar to that jack, I would be interested. I'm very hesitant.
My wish list:
-wraparound spring (pleeease)
-bar shield
-square bolsters
-long pull
-pen in front of main
-rattail grooves
I'm sure there's more, but that's all I can think of for now![]()
