Yep, I know where I am planning my vacation time for next year. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get my school district to start two weeks later in the year.

You're right Landon....I'm freaking out. I was OK missing out on the sucker rod razor charlow but THIS?!?!?!

One of five? That's just so cruel. Congrats to those who snagged one.

One day when the stars are all aligned right, we should do an international rendezvous. Not forgetting our english, scottish and japanese (I think) brethren!
 
Maybe I could put some sleeping powder in my wife's coffee tomorrow morning and sneak off, hmm that'd be too much, nutz :(

Apparently you have to be there super early to have a chance at the rendezvous knife. I'm gonna make a stab at it tomorrow. It's kinda on my way to work from my dad's house.... Ha
 
I decided to skip work today and go to the Rendezvous today with my Wife.
It was GREAT to meet a few other G.E.C. fans, and visit with the TERRIFIC G.E.C. CRAFTSMEN and CRAFTSWOMEN.
I was wrong about the hard part was deciding which G.E.C. folder to bring.
The tough part was deciding which folder to buy, thank goodness Charlie was there to help us.
Charlie might seem nice on Blade Forums, He is even NICER in person.
These two are the latest to the growing collection.

Only 30 Rendez-vous knives were made? Darn, I was hoping to pick one up Saturday. How long did they last?

They are selling ten each day, I think the first ten were sold before 11:00 a.m.
If I didn't have to work tomorrow, I would get there early to buy one.
They had #31 in the store on display, IT IS A SWEET FOLDER.
From what I understood the scales are from the wooden pipe ( sucker rod ) used many years ago in the oil drilling process.
It is quite fitting that these are used for the Rendezvous Knife as Titusville is where the oil industry started.
