You've swayed me away from grooves and to the most budget-friendly, elk-highlighting option. Good points all around!

I think it’s great that it’s a buck knife, and seems like a decent one so far. I’m in no matter what, but there’s folks on here that the extra 20$ could be a meal or two for, and I for one would feel like garbage if people were cut out of getting a forum knife for a few lines on the bolsters. Also, if all four of the first options are not counted as votes for no groves I call shenanigans. Hey, who put this soap box here?

Wanted the box but guess that’s not happening a leather pouch would be nice could care less about the bolsters. Cmon guys just $7 more dollars for the pouch or $11 for the box

I agree, but I was surprised to get a compliment on the engraved bolsters on my Schrade 206 Barlow once from a non-knife knut.
Go figure.

I was intending to buy the knife, so I voted in all the earlier polls.
In two or three of the polls, my vote was in the majority, in others, it wasn't.

Unfortunately, between the last poll and this one, "life" intervened.
My financial circumstances changed; I need to help my family with some unexpected medical bills. Thus, I will not be able to purchase a Forum Knife.

I have not, and will not vote in this, or any future polls, nor was I planning to, since I know I cannot buy one now.

I'm sorry I fell short of your expectations.

Not that it matters, but I did not vote in any of the polls for previous Forum Knives, because I knew I would not be able to get one.

I'm still at no pine box...now I'll add no leather pouch. Grooved vs not - while I think the groove is overpriced, I sort of like the look of the sample (though I have no idea how it will look on knobby elk) - but I remain undecided. The reality is that I've been on the wrong side of most of the polls from the start of this; but not far enough so that I am not buying. Grooved vs not is a non-issue. I'm not voting, thereby retaining my option to not buy (lest I run afoul of black mamba ;))


Interesting to see that the magnanimous vote is kicking in for the second time in this process. First was to kill the reasonably popular 501 option (not everybody can have a locking knife), now to possibly defeat the groove (not everybody can afford the extra). I'm tempted to vote now, after all, and place my mark for the greater good.
