This was a fun way to kill a couple hours at work today. I told my boss that it was my most unproductive day at work in 2 years... he was OK with that. LoL.

Really liking the 301 concept in CPM-154. Lose the shield altogether and slap on some elk covers would be great. Even better if they could do a thin FFG instead of the hollow.

Elk is cool, and the handles are up to us, so it's probably an option. I like elk that is even thickness and not super fat, and I imagine there would be a nice variety. I tend to prefer wood and micarta due to the light weight and the way they weather/endure. Elk antler sure would lend to a "traditional" appeal of the knife.

That's awesome! That's great looking stag. 420, or did you get something special in them? Also, how's the pull weight and action? I've never had a Buck stockman in hand.

An FFG Buck 301 with a premium stainless steel would be delightful.
Edited because I see that Buck does do micarta scales.

Yes the 301 and 303 I think is what is being offered. But if you wanted to run a 112 or 110 that is also an option.
