Stay tuned, I need to take more pristine pictures and strop the edge. Then tomorrow I'll get to slicing SPAM. I'll start a Spamarama thread if no one else does first. ;)

Thanks. The brown wood-grain really shows in the sun, but it's hard to photograph because the steel is so bright and shiny.

I can see why that one will be hard to get out of the pocket !
My photos will do that sometimes with my iPhone 11 “ and other phones”before I even post them so I’ll just flip them back before loading on post.

Yours came with an edge? Wow, I got a pin instead. That's okay though, I can always put an edge on it if I decide to use it.
 
Picked mine up today!
The packaging from CK was perfect, all shrink wrapped and everything. Thank you!
Both were excellent examples and couldn't really find any major differences between the two so choosing one was simple.
Immediately had to put my personal touch on the one I'll carry so broke out my Edge Pro.
The blade grind is thin enough for a 19dps edge and came out great.
One quick picture to show what that 19 degree edge looks like.

Got my two today. Thank you to EVERYONE involved! This is my first forum knife and I really like what ive seen out of the tube. One is black one is streaked im partial to black. The blade is just about right, I was concerned about thickness since its a heavy saber but its not too thick. Action is comparable to all new GEC's ive handled this year. The handle is pleasantly thicker than most single blades ive got from GEC.
