Attention 2019 Forum knife question thread.

Been reading over the last few posts in this thread because im interested in this knife( ordered two) ....seen a couple posts about a forum knife listed on the exchange already and i suppose thats me...Not sure about everyone elses life but i have emergencies happen, in fact a few lately and I'm sorry if i have to sell some knives but if thats what it takes to keep my household goin ill do it. In fact it kinda makes me wanna sell the other forum knife i just bought. I thought it would be good to list it on here so memebers would have a chance to get it instead of ebay. Sorry if i offended.

Capitalism, baby! Never apologize for something you’re not actually sorry for. I buy and resell knives, shoes, hats, beer, bags, etc. all the time. Rarely do I actually make a buck, often I take a slight hit in the transaction. Given the entire timeline since my first eBay account circa 1999, I’m probably in the hole. It’s just stuff, those who care too much likely don’t have much else going on. I really like the look of this knife, haven’t received it yet, but couldn't care less that it’s already showing up for sale elsewhere. Mine might very well end up in someone else’s collection someday. No big deal, it’s all part of the game, have fun!

Please don't be offended, you have to do what you need to to take care of life's priorities. There's a certain sensitivity regarding "flippers." That is, people who buy a knife with the intention of immediately selling it for a significant markup. Especially when it's the forum knife that is brought to us by members who have volunteered their time and efforts for no monetary profit. IMHO, you selling your knife isn't the same as flipping, it's just selling a knife to recoup some funds. Something many of us have to do now and then.

I was not offended. I guess my thought is that selling a few knives has such a small impact on household expenses even when you run short, it is barely worth the effort and to look elsewhere for $. Stuff happens. It happens to me..... I guess you have kept one though and I only ordered one. I didn't order two because I couldn't justify the expense.

Ok to reply, i dont want to derail this thread with a rant, and thanks to all who are defending me and coming to my defense so i dont feel bad for selling a forum knife but 22-rimfire 22-rimfire I run tight every single month. In the last 2 weeks i have had to spend $900 on my truck in two separate visits to the shop and this afternoon as i stated in the for sale forum my transmission went out on my truck. I limped it to the shop and got quoted a price of $1750 to get it fixed. In my world that is ALOT of money and if i can sell a knife for for $120 - $3.78 paypal fee, - $7.90 for priority shipping and insurance with $16.18 left over that will go a little way to fixing my truck and ill have to sell a few more to help pay but more than likely it wont be on the forum.

Hey...HEY! hey hey hey....that doesnt sound like what flippers do so dont worry. Besides from that there was definitely a "no flipping!" clause.....which is like using a Sloth as a Guard dog.
Although I regret to inform you that your membership of The Amalgamated Flippers And Gougers Union is voided.

Your a kind person with no need to explain to anyone your reason for selling and or the price. It’s your knife’s’ that you’ve bought with your money and can do what you like with it. Don’t feel ever that you need to justify anything,but with that being said I do understand why you felt the need.
I’ve bought many more knives at flipper prices then I’ve sold. Sold many way under what I’ve payed also just to keep the rotation going and or if I’ve gone over my knife budget. Your not a lone my friend we all have to live are life and take care of things wether unexpected or not. Some folks get to hung up on this flipper stuff and don’t even see the big picture and don’t even know how many you sold at a loss or profit.
With that being my main objective to this post is to say don’t feel bad about your choice you’ve made with your knife.
Back on track I’m sooo looking forward for my two to arrive. I might keep both and make one a safe queen or I might sell one haven’t decided yet only time will tell ;)
 
My beauties came today. I didn't get a look at them until a few minutes ago. I cannot really see the true color of the wood under the light in my room. It looks to have some brown streaking but not more than my ebony knives. The walk and talk are perfect IMHO on both. Ditto for the fit and finish.

I was expecting tomorrow but here we are a day early and I’m so glad. I can’t tell if I’ll carry the darker or lighter one. But tomorrow one of them is definitely coming to work to show off.
