2019 GEC Rendezvous August 8th, 9th,10th

I distinctly remember this exact same feeling of extreme jealousy last year about this time! I was lucky to meet some of you at the OKCA show but one of these days I need to make it out to the Rendezvous too :thumbsup:
I am genuinely excited to see what they put together for the Rendezvous and parts knives this year and looking forward to all of the photos so I can live vicariously through you :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I don't think there is an online page with the info. But I have one of his flyers that he was handing out at other shows. I'll PM you the details.

For anyone wanting to attend who needs the info, the show is Fri and Sat 9th and 10th, 5 miles east of Titusville on Rt. 27, at the Pleasantville Fire Hall.

Is anyone flying in? Where do you fly in at?
Is it best to rent a car when you get there?
This will be my first time going. Can't wait

There's no where to rent a car in Titusville, I don't think, but you'll pretty much need one to get around. There's no public transportation basically, and no ride sharing.

I'm not sure where you'd fly into. Maybe you could fly into the Franklin airport, but it's more of an air field than an airport. Possibly DuBois, idk if Bradford has an airport.

You could certainly fly into Pittsburgh then drive the ~2 hours.

Lots of beauties in there! Wish I could make it to meet you fine folks but this summer got hectic with a relocation and I've burnt too many vacation days taking care of buying a new house. I especially wanted to make it as I grew up in Titusville and haven't been back that way in a while. Next year for sure!

I always fly into Pittsburgh from Houston, rent a car at the airport (cost a bit more due to airport fees on the rental), and then take the 2 hour drive north. It's a pretty easy drive. I always hit some roadwork in the PA summer.

Pam and I stopped in to pay for our picnic meals. We got to meet Joan! We also talked to William for some time and he kindly let us in the company store. You’re going to be proud of me, I didn’t buy a single thing! :D
