2021 BF Forum knife vs. Facebook & Flippers

Good evening,
If I may say so, I am 99% sure that there are no knives from the 2021 forum sold in France today, because as far as I know they have not arrived to date.
On the other hand, the rules for the sale of these knives are the same as for those sold in the USA.

I, and a lot of regular Porch members, are reluctant to complain about how things are run, when we aren't the ones volunteering the time and trouble to put up money and ship, etc. It's still very frustrating to see how things went this year.

I'm sorry; I'm a little confused. I wasn't referring to anyone from France. I hope you were able to order a forum knife.

But what’s not funny is the freaking vultures who pick over Blade Forums for their trophies and “might let one go”. It’s disgusting. I actually care about this place and it pisses me off to see folks treating it like some two bit lady of the night.

Hi,

No problem, I just wanted to clarify the post quoted (I may have misquoted on my side).
My intervention was just to say that it seemed impossible to me that someone in France already has a knife from the 2021 forum and can resell it.
Because they haven't arrived yet.
A few months ago a knife would come in 10 working days from the USA, now it's 50 to 60 days....
To answer, I don't know if I will get one back or not.
I don't have the same involvement as many here and that's normal, I'm a beginner when it comes to American pocket knives.
I would love to have one, because it would be a form of thanks for me to use a knife shared with those who have introduced me to many knives and because it was designed with the help of Charlie Campagna.
I sympathize with the frustration of the people who have been keeping the forum alive for years and who could not get one while a few people snuck in through a back door to get one. This is unfortunately the case in many areas. Free riders are always more talented than honest people in this kind of practice.
(I hope my message will be clearer than the first one, English not being my natural language)

Thanks man, that’s a kind thing to say. I didn’t particularly care so much about the interaction… can’t be friends with everyone, after all… I just couldn’t believe the stones on the guy!

Don’t worry, I mean I definitely wouldn’t do this…. But I know someone who has a fake eBay account and will be hitting buy it now on every forum knife every time it’s posted and never paying. New account can be made in 10 seconds if they shut that one down. Someone’s gonna make it as hard on flippers as possible

Hopefully it’s not the same guy that runs up auctions and never pays. That is one of the reasons why people think they can get $500+ for a GEC. People look at sold auction prices and think that’s the current value of the knife. Not realizing no one actually paid that price.

I imagine someone in dungarees,sitting on a rocking chair,supping JD and whittling.
 
Its not just GEC,olights,watches anything and everything people are looking to make money from.

Personally I have never bought anything to sell at a profit or to sell full stop.

I don't see how being on facebook makes you more likely to be a bad un.
