Nice photos Hawkeye. Thanks for sharing. I see on my calendar that archery season here is just two months away

Two weeks .man I wish gun season started in two weeks I can't hardely
stand it.i am ready to try my 110bP. out on some deer.
good luck and happy hunting Messy.
hawkeye

two months Hawkeye ;)

I'm debating whether to spend my next wad of cash on another knife or put it toward a new climing tree stand

Rubber Bucky has arrived in Big "D".
She will replace my AG 110 for a few days,
and will hunt ,track and thin the population
of Armadillo's this weekend.:D
missing (1) screw in the left rear.
Luv the sheath.

should not been trying ta work on the pore knife after
sipping from that jar from th0at strong batch...;)
been regretten it ever time a pict comes up... :o
kinda kicken me self ever cents...

....to the shores of 'triple E'....Now the the weekend is upon us, be careful out there with them 'tanks' that can carry leprosy. Make sure to sterilize Rubber Bucky after the adventure too. Going after armadillo sounds akin to practicing proctology on Broke Back Mountain now don't it? LLLooooonnnnngggggg range rifle shooting gets my vote.

Man I sure hope EEE, Ron can get some armadillo's.I
can't wate to see how Rubber Bucky preforms on those.
It has a good sharp point and Woody did a good job
on the rest of the blade. The Rubber should be just the ticket on those
slipperly devils.:D
Hawkeye..Falkenauge

We want pictures !! :D:thumbup:

Well the Armadillo's had to move out of my hunting area ,still under water:(
It should be recede in a few more days.

I saw several that had become temporary speed bumps:eek:,but did
not want to use the rubber Bucky on them:barf:

She has been a pleasure to use for everyday cutting duties
and the sheath by Jack aka Rudderjt is great on my left front hip, crossdraw style.

I will keep using her untill someone else wants to give her a trial.:D

Ron.. Did you see mossbask? :confused:I know the bottom is still full downstream!
Thanks for the update.I had to have one of Jack's sheaths. It just
came in.
Hawkeye

No mossyhorns,no armadillo's,plenty of water mossicans and mosquitoes.

The Rubber Bucky is ready for whomever is in line next,e-mail me or pm
me and I will get her shipped out sharpened.
She has preformed well the sheath sits on mt left hip for a horizonal ride.
The rubber grips take a while to get use to as they donnot slip in
your hand and give you good control while wet.
There is a small tear in the grip next to the frame center rivet but has not enlarged
since I noticed it 2 weeks ago.
Here are some pics of the rig.
I donot think the removable screws will be a good idea, maybe like trax says ...studs,
but then the cost will go up so it would probably be better to buy your 110 with
the scales you want and maybe Buck will put rubber scales on a workman 110.

Just thought I'd let you all know that a dead armadiller was found beside the highway here in southern Colorado a few weeks ago. Not quite a speed bump, but just as dead. Question is: Where did it come from and how did it get clear up here? Typically, this is not prime 'diller country. Jack

Must have got wind of the rubber buckie and got out of Texas and didn't know when to quit running.

OK thanks for the report !!!
any one that wants to try it for a spell send your street addy to the above buck a roo!

Anyone ready for the rubber Bucky....e-mail me I have had her for 2 months.

OK i guess you are tired of baby sitting it and you have done a fine job!
give it a week more or so in case any of the new guys want to read on it and try it out!

to review this 'rubber Bucky' gig for the new guys,,,;)
the wood grips on a 110 were replaced with the rubber grips of an alpha hunter...
this resulted it a 110 that has a lot of grip-ability!
as it is on with screws it also raised the thought of interchangeable 110 grips!:cool:

the knife has criss crossed the country a couple of times being field tested by the guys here on the forum...all have loved how it grips in the hand .. it is hoped that the
buck designers who are following the travels and reviews on this knife
will consider testing a design and issuing of a 110 with tacky grips and perhaps even interchangeable grips..

if you want to field test it the only requirement is you post what you thought of it with the grips and the idea of interchangeable grips...
and of course send it to the next field tester!!!

well EEE, i was hoping it would go around the country again! :) ....,
i guess if no one else emails that they want to give it a spin
send it on back here in one or two weeks ...:(

Why not ! Bro send ol Bucky down here to Florida and I will give her a spin out at Sunshine Skyway bridge. If you ever need a non-slip knife its when your dressing out a big Kingfish or cutting up slabs for grouper bait.......I use a knife more when I am fishing than ANY other time and I bet few things are as sippery as good ol fish guts. A good test! The open top holster would be handy in that situation too........EARL, Dave has my add. Heck any time you can get a new/any 110 in the mail is a good day!!!!~!~~~~~~

Rubber Buck Made It !! Earl, none of my user knives is that sharp! You really put a fine edge on it ...FIRST IMPRESSION: It really is the most non-slip handle I have ever had in my hand.....First use was cuttin-up some veggies for the juicer under running water and veggie wash, It felt great! real secure, and safe...Not even a trip to the bridge and I know I want one like it but with a drop point. When/if it becomes avilble I vote for finger grooves,or maybe finger DEPRESSIONS, slightly rounded edges, and some sort of pebbeled textuered surface........Was wearing no belt today but I really like the crossdraw feature of the sheath. CJ WHY NOT******************

yea i liked as soon as i made it
let us know after fishing ...
and PS:
NO stinky fish on the sheath:mad: !!!
(jest jokeing i know you will clean it up!)
remember i might will be down there for the shot show
and to see darrelS also!
maby some else in sunny fla wants to try it
hay darrel you tryed the rubber bucky?
yea to lazy to do surch ... tired in the head...
