#44 Northwoods barlow.

I'm very jealous of those who managed to snag a mammoth. They look even better than I imagined :(

Got my ivory with character today via US mail. Looks good! If some of the jigged bones are left in a week or so, I may just order one. Fits very nicely in the pocket!

I chuckle at the US mail tracking.... things seem to just sit for days at the original shipping location and all of a sudden, the knife zips accross the US and is delivered with haste.

Exactly.. at one point I think mine went backwards. But with the crazy weather and holiday mail getting wrapped up, I'm happy it made it here.

well, my mr wooly's brother came in the mail today, and boy am I happy!

Hey Gents, this arrived today. I blame arizonaranchman for my minor infatuation with Autumn gold jigged bone, his eureka jack and hound's tooth are drool worthy! I broke down and ordered this from Derrick, and I'm glad I did. The jigging is a deep amber, the spring sits flush open and closed, centered, sharp, strong pull, slim, good snap, smooooth opening, it's pretty darn close to perfect, really.

I was reading some of Carl's stories this morning as well, so I'm feeling rather nostalgic. Peeling and slicing an apple with this really brought a big smile to my face. It rode along with a zippo gifted to my by CJZ, a pencil, and a money clip (filled with all the money this 14 year old boy has to his name, $9 haha).

GEC did a wonderful job with these, I hope we see more variations (*hint, hint* Derrick. ;)). The packaging is great by the way.

I know the pictures aren't amazing. It's freezing outside and I had trouble keeping the camera steady, sorry. :o

Tang stamps are a refreshing change, they look much nicer than the laser etches I'm used to seeing on modern knives.

This ones going to stay with me for a long time. :)

Cheers,
Kirby

Great shots, that jigged bone is spectacular.

I hope you don't mind me posting a picture of my beauties :)

Very nice pics!

Here's a quick snap of mine with a Forest Jack and GEC #53 for comparison.

My jig bone arrived this morning and I've been fondling it all day. Would love to have one in each variant, but need to use restraint. Nice pictures guys.

Wow, now these are some fine-looking knives. I just ordered myself a Bullet Jack.

The bullet jack is a fine looking knife.

You made me laugh with the holding the camera steady thing!

Great pics, guys! I think a clip point would be nice.

Liked mine so much, that I ordered a jigged bone one. That should do it for me, but I am looking forward to this one as well. The knife rides in my pocket nicely.

Oh man, I gotta get one of these. They look great! I may have missed it, but do they have half stops?
