6 New Zero Tolerance Folders Announced at the 2016 SHOT Show

i love the anso but that backspacer and zt logo at the rear totally ruin it for me... i forsee big aftermarket for 0220 backspacers lol

something like this.. and something to cover up that zt logo at the rear.. like a nice carbon inlay

Totally agree, but rather than a CF inlay, I see personalized medallions. Like initials or your favorite symbol.

Dang, I'm a big ZT fan, and was hoping to see something new I liked, but no. I was really hoping for a cool Les George. This one isn't it.

Wow major disappointment on the Les George collab g10 and stainless liner lock. For $50 street price more you can get the 0095 with full ti lockside and scale...that's a no brainer.

I like ZTs designs (for the most part) but the thing that kills me is the weight and the lack of aa deep carry pocket clip. I have the 0770CF and love it. Been thinking about the 0566BWCF but the 5.3 oz weight is making me pause on it.

I suppose the 0450cf catches my eye, My 0452cf is in the safe unused because its .1 inch over the legal limit here. I wish I still had my 0562 cf was my favorite ZT lol. Actually dang might have to buy another one instead.

I'm a fan all around, I have to say though I really would have liked something directly between the 0450 and 0452.

OK slightly off topic question (but not too far off topic): how hard is it to remove the DLC coating from ZT's blades? I really like the 0804, but wish the blade wasn't black.

I was just watching a YouTube video of a guy trying to remove the DLC from a ZT0301 and he said it was the most difficult DLC to remove that he's ever seen.

Yes, and I just don't understand why don't they offer the ZT0095 instead. I don't really like black coating or even blackwashed knives. And the ZT0095 doesn't feel like a limited edition knife in the first place.

Its more of a limited production than a LE.

That's because contrary to what some people may think, it's actual DLC done by the only company in the USA that does it, Ionbond.

It also adds a few bucks to the expense of the knife but it's far more durable than other coatings out there.

The problem is DLC has become a catch all for any black coated blade.

I kinda like the 0450CF and the 0095BW but as usual, I'm not sure I like them enough to pay ZT prices.

909 looks like a monster at almost 9 oz. Be nice if they had some jimping on the to pof the blades for more of them. I think Ill get the 220 out of that list first. The bladehq instagram page showed it flipping open and it looks nice in hand. Kinda fat similar to a custom knife.

In response to the few people who wondered why I am tired of ball bearing pivots: Zt use to be about tough knives not pretty flippers. I use to love my 0562 but everytime I use it outside around dust or dirt, I get a gritty feeling in the pivot. My other knives with washes do not get like that nearly as fast. To me makes the knife feel prissy. Like all it was meant for was to flip and close and cut paper. What happens to Zt being all about military grade knives. Now they just give us affordable factory produced knives based on high end customs. Zt is not making user knives anymore.
