711 vs bk9

You guys are funny.
I posted pics and not words because I am not one to stir the pot. To each his own, eye of the beholder, cliché, cliché, etc.
That is 711 and BK9 in the pics. I only own 2 Beckers at this time (BK9 and 10LE) so I cannot assist with BK7 and 711 comparison photos.

I do dearly hope that none of the good people who frequent this forum act in the way you are acting.......What is your POINT........I own a Busse or two and I refuse to state my opinions of them because no matter wether I am positive or negative or neutral too many Busse blade Fans behave like you.....I certainly would not think that the GREAT Busse would appreciate fans of his blades acting like something that crawled out from under a slimy rock just downstream from the privy.....I repeat WHAT IS YOUR POINT......If you are here only to tear down non Busse knives you have made that point.....DO you USE knives .......Please post pics.....Do you do rational comparisons of different knives IN USE.....Please post pics......Make a point that has a point or please get thee back under your rock...

someone send me a 711, we can try cutting a lawnmower in half, etc, and see how it holds up.
 
I would love to see an honest showdown, busse becker esee and whatever else. Either way, when I reach for a knife I wana flog and beat the snot out of it will be a becker. I love all sorts of knives, I've even been known to carry a pink delica. But when it comes down to it the becker is the one I wont feel bad taking to the ragged edge and back. For the price you would be hard pressed to beat it.
 
I certainly have enough Becker and Bussekin blades to do a "showdown" but really it doesn't matter, there are a lot of good knives out there, not sure of the the point of "mine are better than yours" kind of argument... real woodsmen have survived with much less than with what we are able to have nowadsays...

Ive got a like new 511 Ill put up. Just use a similar sized blade. Email me if you want it.

All playing aside, the BK7 is an outstanding knife, not just "for the money" it is excellent regardless

Dear Ethan, I made my point...the Scrapyard is superior to the BK9...that was the question, wasn't it. I sorry if i upset your delicate sensibilities with my good natured ribbing of a Rival company. ;)
