9 mm is for sissies 45 is for real men

9mm is a lot cheaper to buy ammo for which leads to more practice which leads to better shot placement.

excellent point. but .45 is just more fun. which leads to me wanting to shoot it more which leads to more practice which leads to better shot placement and me being dirt poor.

Real men don't care if you have a SIG, Kimber, or Beretta.

I am a real man and I shoot a bow.;)

I have shot 9mm and .45 in comps and self-defense. I prefer a .45.

10mm is the best cal IMO...although I am very partial to the construction and shooting of .45 1911....les baer....mmmmmmmmmmm

I guess either or both, but I'm very happy with my 357 mag, whoops 38+P, I want a 357 mag!

.

I used to sport an IWB Compound Bow holster with a 6 arrow quiver made by Dave Brown and Dwayne Puckett.

It worked great but I had to wear really HUGE pants to conceal it and fast deployment was not an option.:D

"Real Men"? Please don't consider this patronizing but anyone can pull a trigger. Rangers, Seals, S.F., Recon, etc. and those who man up in the ring or cage are real men.

- The mark of a real man is how well he handles his liquor.

Yeah, they fixed me up with a IWB crossbow setup but after one bolt went through my boot I decided I may want to have more children later and sold it to my wife's first ex-husband... 30 years too late. :foot:

After getting spoiled by pocket (pistol) carry, thats all I do these days. A 9mm Kahr PM9 seems to be about the most potent pocket pistol that is easy for me to carry. So thats how I ride.

But I do love sending a big 230 grain chunk of lead downrange too.

I pocket carry a .357 mostly (when pocket carrying). Only 5 shots of 125 grain .357 mag, with another three speed loaders as back up.

But, I wear a heavier belt.

I also have pocket carried a full sized Glock 22, but I have some pants with bigger pockets.

Normally, if I am carrying the .40 it gets holster IWB, or in my man purse Maxpedition Mongo.

I don't own a 45 right now. I will eventually pick one up, If I can stop buying other toys first.

The truly lazy will always pick .45 for the larger cases, bullets, and primers to make reloading easier. The .45 wadcutter is a lot easier to see on the target too.

The only reason lazy .45 lovers hate 9mm is because we have to shake the damn little 9mm cases out of our brass when we pick it up.

It's an easy choice. ;)
