9 mm is for sissies 45 is for real men

I used to sport an IWB Compound Bow holster with a 6 arrow quiver made by Dave Brown and Dwayne Puckett.

It worked great but I had to wear really HUGE pants to conceal it and fast deployment was not an option.:D

Yeah, they fixed me up with a IWB crossbow setup but after one bolt went through my boot I decided I may want to have more children later and sold it to my wife's first ex-husband... 30 years too late. :foot:

2 Awesome and sig worthy posts. You guys is funny!:D:thumbup:

I remeber a guy at our shooting club who used to be a bit of a "blow hard" about .45 and 9mm .... he had though a stunning girlfriend .... he used to take her shooting and we would hear his conversations with her telling her that a .45 was a bit too much gun for her and she would be better off shooting a 9mm .... she used to hire the club's 9mm Browning and the range was out doors with a 25 yard firing point .... he would blast away a mag with his tricked up .45 and had hits all over the target .... when she came to shoot she was missing and going high .... I could see this because I had a spotting scope and was shooting a Walther GSP in .32 off hand target style in the next booth .... for a laugh I got down on the bench double handed and put 5 in the X ring .... she had shot 5 .... we all went up to the targets to change them and having tipped a few guys the wink we all went over to congradulate her .... definately pretty she loved all the praise .... this guy was "gob smacked" .... as soon as they got back he put the pistols away and said lets shoot some .22 rifle .... :D:D:D

For the next 3 weeks either me or one or two of the other guys would do the same again when she came along ....

He then started turning up of an evening practising on his own ....

He never did get very good though .... but we wound him up a treat saying that his girlfriend should try out for the National Team .... :D:D:D

It got so that we were laughing so hard ... even our groups were opening up .... :D Happy memories .... when we were allowed pistols over here :)

The moment I plucked the pebble from my Blind Sensi's palm. I was asked to leave...
Thoughout my life I have been hunted by those, who want my life.
After numerous encounters. All of which I am the Victor.
Using Nothing but my hands and feet or maybe the wooded flute. I have strapped to my body....;):D:D:D

Anyone can carry shoot or carry a gun, a smart man knows when to and when not to use it!

I tried the crossbow dealio once but had to wear a tactical kilt to make it work!. . . Me in a kilt isn't really an image you can easily scrape off the front of your brain.

I know this is a joke of a thread. With that said the first time I shot pistols was with my father and I was a young boy. He brought two of his pistols along. 357 Mag revolver and Colt 1911. I shot the 357 and liked it. Then he showed me the 1911 and I fell in love. I shot it and knew then it was my kind of pistol. I have been shooting nothing but 45 ACP 1911'a ever since. I think that's enough said about my pistol of choice. I almost strayed a while ago but you all kept me in line ;-)

There is a pic of the only pistol I have shot for a little while now. I love it.

That's a good looking gun, simple but elegant.^^^ All you need now is some Snakeskin slabs. :D

Jerry,

You should turn one of your 10mm Glocks into a long-slide version. Here is my Glock 20L:

It shoots like a dream.

Well, capacity or stopping power?

In other words, do you need 1 shot or 20?

Are you a good shot?

It might just be me, but I like 45's :D

How about both.....
My FNP .45 holds 15+1... :D

AND it has the muzzle rise of a 9mm.. (or pretty darn close to it)

I'm goin ta have ta go with .45 FTW
