The sad thing is that this is happening on an internet forum, where the usual social safety-valves are not present; if we were all together in one real world location - say, a bar - the very real possibility of a person's physical ass being kicked would probably stop a lot of the awful things being said. In fact, since we're ALL KNIFE ENTHUSIASTS we'd probably have reached an amicable conclusion and be buying each other drinks by now. Come on brothers, where's the love?

I agree completely, Most of the people TALKING TALL around here have never done it face to face. They watch wrestiling and play x-box and tell people to shut up. I just figured if we let it go on and on they might learn something or just get bored and evaporate. I do appologize to you and some of the other knife enthusiests here because this has gone over the edge and ive made some stupid posts but hey im not taking it sereous so I hope you dont either. If I dont end up banned after this thread Ill make a vow to be on the up and up again.

I love how your quote of me includes something from a different post taken out of context, and of course how some guy that joined a month ago, who probably has the majority of his posts in this one thread wants to call me a new poster? Ive been here over a year longer than you have and Im the new poster? Ahh, ya, at least I have the balls to put my name in my profile. Must be nice to be 19, anon, and on the internet. You can find me too at many shows, next one will be Vegas.

Great stuff all around. Took me 3 beers to get to the end of this so it wasn't a waste of my time. Nutbags aside, I think this is a good discussion. I've seen some very loyal Strider owners come to Mick's defense and seen a bunch of other guys that don't give a damn one way or the other become offended by Mick's comments. Anyways, I just think it's great that we can come here and listen to a guy that makes good knives and sells them at high prices berate a customer (probably much like ourselves) and then have a bunch of other guys defend him for his actions. This is capitalism, free speech, and I love it. Would I buy another Strider? No not now.
