I had one of their albums about 10 years ago, it was great - but I lost it. I just saw their new video, that "flaming beard" thing where they're in a church full of robots. Man, I love twisted stuff like that. It's on my "to get" list. :thumbup:

I use that knife for opening mail and UPS boxes. I would never sell it. If it were given away, it would be marked as such. So, yes.

And for the record.....

The middle hole is awful ugly. The damascus came to me not fully annealed. I burned through three bits before I had to switch to a full carbide bit. Luckily, having a hole off-center drilled had zero affect either on aesthetics or function. Unless a user wants to pry the scales off, it is not part of the finished knife. Now if i had, say, for instance, double stamped my name, overground the blade till it was blue, or smashed the spine with a hammer a few times....that would be a different story than a hole that needed to be re-drilled in the early stages of construction.

Im not saying anything about perfection. You brought up my knives. This thread has a alot more to do with professionalism than about finishing techniques. Maybe I am over picky and that makes me jaded....i spend time on such silly things as lining up grain paterns across the spine.....
