But if you go back to the first few pages of this epic, like Mick's second post, you will see that Mick in no way told the OP to "lick his sack" He told the unqualified dekdek who supposedly was critiquing a couple of Strider folders to "lick his sack" because he knows nothing about knives. You people have been mistakingly posting the wrong info. Read it again. Yes, Mick did use those words, but it was not toward the original poster. So I think there is a little confusion here. Oh, I am keeping the record straight. This forum has been bashing Mick for days about how he told the OP to lick his sack, and that is not what happened at all. That is why I posted that here. There were a lot of quotes like"A guy buys a knife from Strider that has a problem, and Strider tells him to lick his sack" Mick never told Midget that. But that has been mentioned at least a dozen times on this forum. That was my point. And just for the record. After reading dekdek's posts, I don't even know if he is aware that he is awake. All he does is ramble. Also, supposedly the knives he looked at were in Thailand, they could have very well been knock offs. There are a million of thoseover there!! Think about that.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of people here have ONLY been exposed to two things regarding strider and his knives:

1. The shoddy workmanship on a knife that supposedly could have maybe been a BRO knife, though we will never know due to Strider's failure to mark knives as such.
2. The shoddy knife's maker telling someone critiquing his work to lick his sack, and stating that he is a "nobody."

What results is (at least for me and it seems others as well):
1. Decreased sense of professionalism and class surrounding that maker due to his own actions, despite purchase justified claims made otherwise.

Well from reading your reply, it appears to me that no one wants to accept the fact that it was in fact a "Bro" knife, because that would make it all right that it was in that condition.
