A Month Ago I didn't Own A Kershaw

Kershaw has been with me over the years more than any other folder, SAK aside.
The Blue Mountain is still probably my favorite knife, I just want one with a super steel.
A lot of guys in the boat construction trades carry Kershaws and seem to be pretty proud of their blades (with good reason).
Kershaw... I should give these guys more praise. They offer quality blades at reasonable prices for Joe Schmoe.
They are doing something right.
Lotta very happy Kershaw customers.

I did something I haven't done in quite some time.
I carried one knife today.
Junkyard Dog!!

I just got a Mini Cyclone for $17.50... $22.50 after shipping. Amazing price for an American-made knife of superb quality!

I feel one of those is in my future. I happen to like 13C26 just fine and the knife does have a lot of appeal.

the S30V blur has become one of my favorite production folders of all time..kershaw is by far my favorite company. i used to have alot more kershaws but traded/sold some to try other companies. now, i'm trading them off to get kershaws again:D once you find a company you like, stick with it!

Kershaw is on the right track for sure, they are producing great knives with amazing steel at a steal. The two sg2 junkyard dogs i own are amazing. I really want to try some of their chef's knives from the shun line.

I had to opportunity this week to put my J-dog to task. I was working on my house and needed to do a little insulating around a door frame. As a result, I made about 20 cross-cuts of a 24inch roll of the pink stuff on a piece of plyboard. Cut the insulation like a champ but the blade's edge did dull to the point it wouldn't pass the paper cut test. About 40 swipes per side on the fine sticks of my Sharpmaker and its back slicing paper like hot butter.

Needless to say, I'm really impressed with my JYD, but especially with Kershaws CPM-D2.

If any of you guys DON'T have a JYD and you fancy yourself a knife guy....get one!!!! The bonus on this knife is it's a true value in its pricing!

AND, one other thing...even with all that love I'm showing this knife, that batwing clip is awful looking.

Flatlander, I come to this thread late. How do you find your Zero Tolerance 0350CB in terms of carry? I am thinking of buying one but cannot find too many reviews on this knife. Thanks.

Of course this knife is a downsized 300/301/302 and it's true to its heritage...that is to say a brawny knife and heavy for a knife its blade length (I generally think to much drama is made over a couple of ounces anyway).

However, the G10 linerlock setup does make the knife thinner and I find it a very good carry piece but then I gravitate to larger knives. I consider the 350 a "must have knife" so I have no reservations in saying "Get It!"

Please Anyone else want to comment on Chan's question, feel free!

Really? I think it looks really cool, and it works well. Also, I realized that the grind on the D2 version comes up higher than the grind on the SG2 version.

I thought the same thing. Within a day of receiving mine I shot a PM over to STR and got a low ride clip on it's way. Now it's a great EDC in my opinion.

I hear ya on the clip. I like my clips to be low-key and low-riders if possible. STR will likely be getting an email from me soon. I have one of his clips on a mini-manix and its a nice low rider clip.

jdboy...as you can see I have Steve's clips on my radar. Any chance you can post a picture of your knife with it's new clip?

Thanks Flatlander for the assurance. That's what I need, much appreciated.

When you get your knife will you come back and give your opinion on it?
Btw, Fit and Finish on mine was outstanding. You should be very pleased there.

Sure can, give me a few minutes to host the pic.
