My brown camel bone from KSF arrived today.
Loving the subtlety of the dye on these. I also find the camel bone to be amazing worry stone material. And to think if you hadn't gotten one I probably wouldn't have found the one I did.
Hey, I can do that too.
My two arrived last week. They were ordered by mistake - I thought I had ordered Beagles but must have gotten the names confused - both tidioutes;
I'm not really a fan of single blade knives and the wharncliffe is not my preferred choice so I sent them off two a couple of worthy forumites
Amazingly generous, but you should have given at least one of those wild little pups a chance. They have a way of changing minds.
Did the Tidioute's only come with the buttons? Only curious....
Both of mine did. I am not quite clear on the Northfields, or the other SFOs (camel bone is a KSF SFO), but I've read in other GEC threads in the past that "swag" like that doesn't always make it into every tube. YMMV.
And now I'm waiting on an Oily Creek bone to ship...
I really like the size and look of the Coyotes as a secondary knife. I might have gone a little overboard with them. Maybe.
(Ô.ô)
I'll post a pic when the Oily arrives.
The oily creek bone is an absolute gem, from the early photos. I promised myself no more until the #98s are out.
Steady...
Steeeeaaaaaady...
:grumpy:
This is my only camel bone knife, nor do I have any oil creek bone, so either one was to be something different. It feels denser and smoother than cow bone. I like it.
My plan was the same as yours: I was going to use the osage all the time (it's already got bolster "character"

) and leave the bone for the safe, but once I got my fingers on it things changed.
The oily creek bone is yummmmmy!
That it is! The first run of #18s is turning out to be an unmitigated triumph!
I like all of them shown here

I'd just like mine (Blackwood) to arrive, paid the import-tax online yesterday morning but today was the last postal delivery till next Tuesday , NOTHING

:barf:
That's a crying shame, Will! The complexities of international shipping of knives cut both ways, unfortunately. I'm still trying to get my hands on a bronze Mercator. I hope you get a nice Easter surprise in the next day or two.
(Doesn't it seem like there haven't been all that many Micarta 'yotes posted? I often get the impression that a lot of folks on the porch love their Micarta.)
