Most of the posts in this thread right before the current, and largely unneeded, expansion of the thread dealt with periodic updates about whether or not Joe had been paid. Without any fuel, the fire dies.

You have stated your position on the matter, but just as I stated to Martyn, once that is done your contribution is done. Everything after that is ego. You can state till you're blue in the face, a hundred different ways how you feel in this matter. That is ALL you can do. You can't make people accept it.

Furthermore, I agree there are some people here who've been involved in a pile-on. Well, if you ignore them they'll go away. Really they will.

Also, as was made clear by Martyn a few pages ago, and I'll state it again, BB owes nothing to BF. As such, BF owes nothing to BB; and just as our membership will not affect the way you do things there, your continued presence in this thread will NOT affect how things are done here, and in fact merely cause the situation to be drawn out.

Actually, It's not about knives, It's about being ripped off by someone who might not be only a good knifemaker, but also a conman thief.

The very good people here that have come out in support of one of their own knife collecting brothers, who was a victim of this guy, are not convinced that Alan is reborn into the repentfully wonderful guy you feel he's turned into.

They don't want to see him get away with this garbage because they feel he stole from one of their forum friends and he doesn't appear to show any remorse for it. In fact, I think he wants everyone to believe he's the victim of us here.

As a group of friends in this place, people like to stand up for each other against these types of evil practices.

Let me ask you, would you ever go to somebodies aide if you saw they were being harmed or wronged? The answer is yes. You're doing it now in your posts here because you think Alan is being wronged.

Lawmandan, pretend for a moment that Alan had taken your money and never sent you the knives that he promised you. How would you have handled it at your knife forum? Would you still be in support of him there? Be honest.

If Alan is really trying to be an honest knifemaker, that's great. But, is he really?

We all stand up for each other. I would stand up for any of you who join BB. I have personally hunted down fraudsters through their IP addresses and had them arrested.

I know this is painful for many BF folks but we have made a decision. And that is that whatever happened before we will trust Allan Blade.

Over three years on BB and, perhaps more importantly, our sister site www.bushcraftuk.com , Allan has simply supplied quality knives at superb prices.

So yet again I make my stand. I will defend Allan Blade until he lets us down.

Mate, read back - the issue isnt that BF refuses to defend Allen, it's that this thread was hammering BritishBlades for taking a different policy. We're (I'm) here, because BF members were having a go at us & implying that we are deliberately A&A a criminal.
