Well, of course it's many counts of petty larceny, plus a couple of grand larceny, but it's not just the stealing. It's also the years of trolling, the endless villification of his victims and everyone else who objects to his behavior, the dishonesty on many levels -- pretending to be other people, telling stories, etc. Others have made themselves as disliked around here just by persistent trolling without stealing at all.

On the other hand, stealing is sufficient to get you thoroughly disliked around here, too -- even stealing just once.
 
Seeing these BB members coming over and enthusiastically joining in the mud slinging (and unless my memory fails me, getting it off to a start with the "American in Afghanistan" crack) is like watching Dame Judi Dench performing in a scat porn video. It totally blows your preconceived notion of how you think a person would behave.

If you want to talk about history or politics, go to History: WWII and have at it.

Having an irrelevant argument here and leaving it to me to separate it out and move it to the appropriate forum is not a very efficient way to communicate with each other. I'm not doing a very good job of separating it out -- for one thing, I can only move whole posts.

It makes no difference that the people who are trying to excuse or minimize Allen Blade's behavior happen to be British and most of the rest of us are from various other countries -- it could just as easily have been the other way around.

The whole story is quite LONG since year 2000. If you know the story and if you were in my shoes, I wonder you can have half of my patience and gentleness in any post I made.

One of BB admin said if Allan blade screws any one of BB members up then he will do something.

Allan Blade screwed me up MANY TIMES. (I hope he will not this time for the big knives thing)

You can post what you want and say what you like Mr. Yarrow. But before accuse me like that, I'll appreciate you do some 'research' before you post it, not posted it then edited it and said you were sorry. Thank you.

Most of the posts that contain off-topic nonsense also have some on-topic content. I'm only moving posts that don't seem to have any relevant content at all -- the way I see it, moving anything that could be considered relevant would be censorship. I've probably missed some posts that had no relevant content, too. Maybe I'll go back later and find them, but I might not, too.

You can edit your posts, though. You could paste the historical portions into the history thread and leave the relevant portions here. You can also quote posts in this thread and reply to them in the other thread, with a little copying and pasting.

This is a community, communitities help and defend each other.

Allen is a thief in my opinion, undeserving of a second (third, fourth, etc) chance at this time.

Supporting Allen, without holding him accountable is A&A his actions. Actions like these could even help him build trust in a new community until he has enough to again abuse.

If the goal is to help him regain his reputation, then he would have a desire to clear up previous messes and debts. Those "helping" him would hold him to that, not holding him to that indicates another motive.

If the goal is to get something for as little as possible, while running a risk you wish to manage, fine, but don't try and hide greed under a veneer of honor, there is none there.

Before anyone asks, I have no dog in this fight except community. I have never bought or sold Allen anything, and would actively discourage that activity by anyone I know.

As for second chances, if Allen wishes a second chance, he should make a sincere and true effort to earn the right to have one. This would include public remorse for past actions, paying old debts, and instituting policies that are iron-clad that would prevent future temptation (such as knife in hand of a buyer before payment is required). Until that point, I don't believe he has earned the right of a second chance.

For those worried about violence and our rights in this country. If you wish to debate it we can, but lets take it to a thread in a political forum, just send me a link to the thread.

Well, once again- and this JUST might be because you're speaking the Queen's english-, I'm going to try and calmly explain to you Martyn that you're continued presence here is not necessary. People took afront to how BB was dealing with AB, and you explained your position. Let me say this in rude American terms:

This continued discourse is getting you nowhere. You're not going to change the minds of people here, and if you quit responding to the thread then the situation quits getting fuel. How many times does it take to get you to understand this concept? BF owes you N-O-T-H-I-N-G. You merely come off as a British stereotype of the bad public television variety when you continue on.

As for my comment about the English trolls. There has been a recent infusion of trolls to this thread, and at least 2 to this forum who've come from BB for no other reason than to troll on the board (Mr. Yarrow and Bogflogger come to mind). Now, they are both ENGLISH. Thus, they are ENGLISH TROLLS. I'm not trying to make it into some kind of an American/British thing; you just seem infuriatingly incapable of realizing the limits to your own reasoning.

IT WILL GET YOU NOWHERE HERE!!!

I know you have a difficult job with this thread Cougar and I do sympathise (I am an admin afetr all), but I'm in the minority here which is why my posts are containing a large % or retorts and rebuttals - historical or otherwise. It's leaving the thread kind of one-sided. :)

I suspect the drum will go silent if you repay everyone everything you owe, and follow through with the promises you have promised before (ones you have broken, like never taking a payment before delivery again). Until then, I'm not sure they will be silenced.

Problem here is, you have not done that. What's more, you haven't done it for years. Remember also, you owe a lot of people/companies, don't let a selective memory stop repayment.

I never have fallen in to the GOOD ole Boy Mentality as has been displayed on other forums,,,, I appreciate all the comments and help, and i will repeat again, Im NOT ripping anyone off, im not lying and i will make good on every Debt or promice i have said i will on.

All i can do is to JUst DO it, and then if the banter continues its on those folks not me or the members of this fine forum.

Is the way i handled everything Right , no . am i to blame, yes, i have admitted that over and over again,,, have i been catching up and repaying folks and getting knives to folks , yes and will continue to do so.

Do i feel regret for my past and Present bad decisions and current Tardiness on getting things done in time, i absolutly do and i am working on rectifying it all.

That's exactly what you are doing, whether you realise it or not. By your logic, I could say this forum was full of American assholes, because there a lot of assholes and a lot of Americans. In truth that would be bigotted and when I put it like that I'm pretty sure you "feel" it dont you?

Who died and made you the paragraph Nazi ? What's next, grammar ? I'm shocked that you haven't commented on the lack of logical order of a well constructed paragraph and essay mechanics.

You've responded to the posts, which leads me to believe that you comprehended what was typed, even though they weren't in true paragraph form.

So, what's your point ?

I respect you for coming here and providing us with the reason why you've elected to support Blade.

If you want to truly see why people are poking you and several of your BB buds with sharp sticks, go back and reread your posts. Maybe you'll be able to see your persistent pokes and jabs.

What did they accomplished ? Nothing. . . . . .oh. . . . .except fuel the flames.

You wanted Blade, you've got him. Please keep him. I honestly hope that he doesn't take advantage of the folks on BB !
