So much for trying, gentlemen. If you think poorly of my attempts at a reconciliation between two fine forums, remember that it was without animosity on my part. If you found it necessary to belittle my efforts I suppose the satisfaction of an unwarranted attack on my reasoning was sufficient to keep you on the course you have chosen. As some have stated perhaps I am "silly"---I can only console myself with the thought that I am rational, unbiased, and of a character higher than some I have seen displayed here. If that statement inflames some of you it is only because if the shoe fits, you object to the fit. again, this aint about BB or BF its about the $$ allen blade owes joe, till this thread i had never heard of BB, not saying its bad or good just saying i never had been there, a lot of folks just wanna see a good guy get whats owed him, and been owed him for a darned long time,

Allan, if you are reading this, seek help, either a dictionary, meds, whatever, but the Schizophrenia act is wearing thin, man.

You compare yourself to Jack Crain, Newt Livesay, Steve Corkum, Shiva Ki, all "victims" of the BFC conspiracy -

Mssrs Crain, Livesay, Corkum all had one thing in common with you - they took money for orders that were not built. If you look around here, Crain and Corkum have still not tried to straighten things out with folks they have bilked. Mr. Livesay has some issues, but he also has his son-in-law and daughter stepping up and getting the goods out as best they can. Newt's a good guy who ran into some trouble and that is being worked out.

There's a thread around here somewhere about Jack Crain taking money from a guy with cancer and then stopping comms - that's not a victim, that's a bastard.

Shiva Ki just came in and was a little too weird for his own good. Some of the folks stepping up and defending him learned to get along with us after that little thing was over.

Allan, no one's out to get you - you are out to get yourself. You could have cleared this up years ago, or even have taken a different attitude. Instead, the entire world is against you in your mind - everyone you work for, everyone you owe money (this should NOT be a surprise, btw) and you are genuinely angry with pretty much the whole world near as we can tell.

I'm not surprised at the hatred you show towards Kevin McClung. He's experiencing success and you are having trouble at the moment and have been for some time now. But this is not his fault, Allen, this is yours. If the entire world is telling you the program is not working, it's not the world, man, it's YOU.

So get Joe paid, go take a union job as a machinist and maybe get a little medication to calm the voices down. Maybe I'm out of line for suggesting this, but a little percoset and lithium cocktail may help you out man. Seriously, go get some help and level off.

First off, your self-righteous, condescending manner is only making the thread become one about a reconciliation between "Sandy the victim" and the people whose character that you question instead of about Alan the knifemaker and someone he ripped off.

Why don't you try a different tact here , Sandy?
Maybe a reconciliation effort between Joe and Alan would be more appropriate and , perhaps, will provide a more efficient conclusion to what you feel is the most important concern(i.e., perceived bickering between two fine forums). How you somehow believe that this is the most urgent issue here to be resolved is beyond me.


Now that Alan has made yet another promise to pay Joe back as quickly as possible, perhaps a focus on the issue at hand combined with a reconciliation effort between those two parties will be more on topic.

As I have stated, I have no problem with anyone on British Blades (other than Allan Blade). There are many folks on BB that I respect very much. This should never have become a battle between the two forums. That does not mean that because there are some that think that this should be put to rest and Allan should be left alone, that I have any intention of doing so. Only once Allan has fulfilled his obligations will I stop.

Wayne, it will die when Allan has lived up to the promises and obligations. Hopefully the cross forum hostility will end soon, but Allan will be held to account for his wrongs until he has righted them.

I certainly have no issue with Allan being held to account for what he owes. I am just a little upset about the cross forum anger and in particular the way people have spoken to Sandy. Sandy is a friend and I have huge respect for him.

Parts of this thread have been so painful as I have seen good friends fighting with each other and know there is nothing I can do to stop it.

Lets drop the forum bashing on both sides and get Joe his dues. We will work at it on BB the way we see fit and you guys work at it on BF your own way and lets both agree we are trying to get Joe what he is obviously due and focus on the positive aim.

I am not going to say weither I agree with the way things have been done on BF as my opinion matters not on this topic. I just know there are a whole lot of great people trying to help a good guy and things got a bit bent out of shape as they say. A little respect to the good guys is needed, lets get Joe his money! :thumbup:
 
RWS---the fit is a little tight? I am self righteous, I have a callous between my shoulder blades from patting myself on the back. I cheerfully admit my faults and can live with them. I personally do not give a shit about yours. I feel that most people have a point where they can tell others to kiss their ass and If you need directions, allow me to tell you where mine is located, just south of my spine. I do not find it necessary to use innuendoes to slight others. If this is not direct enough for your offended sensibilities, please let me know---I will try harder. If you can not decipher the message here, try to find someone to decipher it for you! I am still Sandy, and looking back on my efforts here, I am forced to again pat that callous between my shoulder blades and hoist the extended finger. Hope that your clouded vision allows you to view it in all its magnificense. If this does not help the administrator to put an end to this nonsense or delete this posting as detrimental to his administration, it is because he has not been following what occurs herein. Esav, it is a wonderful world and I like my popcorn salty! Your trust or lack of it in me is not one of my priorities, but I would prefer that it was not an issue. I trust you to speak your mind without my interference, is it too much for you to respond in kind?
 
I feel you misunderstand the internet experience, especially here on Bladeforums. We are all free to speak our minds, and no one gets to interfere with anyone else.

There are some limits, yes, but it seems few of us have come near them on this thread. Bladeforums policy is to allow untrammeled expression of opinion. Locking and deleting is done extremely sparingly.

However, any freely expressed opinion may be met with an alternate opinion, just as freely expressed. I certainly do not believe I have expressed any opinion here in an especially insulting manner, although I really don't like some of the remarks I think were tossed my way.
