If the forum was used as an avenue to order knives from Blade and Blade isn't responding to e-mails. . . .I would think that posting that info on said forum would be appropriate.
When you let "trash" into your house and the "trash" leaves mounds of dirt on the floor. . . . .sweeping it under the throw rug only leaves lumps under the throw rug.

I've been accused of being a lot of things but never a "window-licker" and I resent it. I've been over to British Blades before following a Tandy Leather thread and I'm a member there. I've been a member here a long time and while this thread sometimes got monotonous I'm glad it's here.
I think it's gotten long and out of control at some point and I wish there was a HALL OF SHAME section on this forum where you can post generalities about whomever and then link to this thread. Not something that everyone can post to but something Mods can add a name to like Allan Blade, Jensen & Corkum and others so that newbies can see who may be questionable before they turn over their money. I'm not talking about throwing up every GB&U on it, but the really bad ones.
Some of this stuff has been going on a long, long time and sadly it's something new for the guys over at BB. They were warned but they thought maybe everyone over here was just jumping on the bandwagon when really all the outpouring was a warning like watching someone getting ready to make a really bad mistake but they're out of your hearing range so a whole crowd is screaming and waving their arms and the person can't hear them. I think that's what this is/was.
We should quit fighting with the other forums and find some way to stop the fraud.

I guess I'm a window licker too, but it seems to me the first, easiest and most effective way for the fraud to stop is let people have the information.
I won't attempt to understand why BB or whoever runs it wants to hide the information, but then I never understood why they wanted to aid a known thief either.
I do feel for those at BB that have lost money and time, but I'm surprised that they would put up with "it's all in the past let's hide it" mentality.

Bladeforums gets sued quite often enough already, thank you. Keeping an open forum where the accused have equal access to defend themselves is not libel -- we get sued anyway but at least we don't lose in court.

As for Cougar's comment, I know, you're right, it was just plain old wishful thinkin'. Besides poor Keith or someone else bustin' their balls tryin' to keep these threads at the top where people can see them what happens if it slips?
I know it's buyer beware but some of these scammers are smooth talkers.
Hahahaha just had a look at the Alan Blade thread on BB, so thats how you get banned, and the Mod is a Kiwi too!!! We pride ourselves on fair play, normally. A wall of shame would be a nice feature but i can see it enriching the BF lawyers....shame.

The guy that just got banned got booted because he posted about using a knife as a weapon...not for posting a question about Blade.
Notice that no one at BB is coming to Blade's defence anymore...or stepping up to say they'll pre-pay for knives like they were before.
Personally I'm sorry to see that Blade without even trying has driven a wedge between to great forums.

I still don't understand why any discussion regarding Blade has been stomped out. When you questioned whether members had received their orders, and members replied in the negative, the thread was locked. Would it have been locked if the knives had arrived?
I don't believe the reason is merely that the thread was cluttering up the forum, as there are far more worthless threads which get left. It does all seem very strange. And disappointing.

It would be interesting to know the real motivation behind bb supressing the information. I think bladeforums has it right, let the information remain open so future members will not get scammed by good ole' preacher blade and Cori "im gonna sue everybody in sight" Blade (where is she anyways? Usually she would have popped in and threatened everybody by now).
I know if I were a new member at bb and got scammed by the crook (yes you allen) only to find out later that it was common knowledge but they had locked the threads and would put the boot down on anybody who might warn me, I would be awful hacked off. What do I know, Im just a window licker...and proud of it
