Allan Blade

Hi,
No news here.

Talk about the payment for makers. I have many good transactions with US makers. For example recently I bought knife from ABS MS Burt Foster, I emailed him and he told me the waiting time is about 8 months and no penny needed for ordering. After about seven months, burt emailed me said it's time for making my knife, then I paid a little for 'deposit', two or three weeks later the knife was ready then I paid the balance. The knife shown up in a week after I full paid. You can tell the difference for a good maker and not-so-good maker from the detail. Burt is the great one for sure.

Joe

Of course you recieved no news from allan and no money from allan. Until someone on BB holds another raffle for one his/her knives Joe will continue to remain unpaid in full......

Yup, yup, yup............

WE told you so comes right to mind!!!

Oh BTW, how many freaking knee surgeries did his daughter have? seems like folks paid for surgery on more than two knees, is his daughter four-legged????

AND, read the great line as usual; "Allan did explain that he had been ill" BAHAAAAAWAAAHAAAAA!!!!

Lots of unfilled orders over there both paid and unpaid. The folks at BB should be commended for helping this scammer keep a balance in his checking account.

IMHO, they all will see their prepaid and unpaid knives two days after Joe is paid in full, should be in the year 3455...............................

I guess further assistance from BB is out of the question. :jerkit:

It seems that the folks at BB are starting to realize that Allan Blade is not to be trusted. His hard luck stories have been too numerous to count. I wonder what happened to his promise not to take any more payments in advance.

I will be watching to see if Allan ever gets that job working for a knife manufacturer. An email to his bosses directing them to this thread would be appropriate I think. Chances are that when he made that statement he was as full of crap as he was when he told all those folks at BB that their knives would be ready in a couple of weeks, so it's time to send the money.

As a BB member that decided not to order a knife from allan I think the only way I'd do it now would be to say that once I have the knife I will send the money...

to somebody he owes

Maybe he should just get a job pushing carts at walmart. I bet they have a health plan that would cover all his mysterious family health issues, and he could crank out blades on the evenings and weekends.

Considering the number of blades he actually cranks out, he could finish his shift at Walmart, also work a full shift at Target and still spend enough time in his shop to keep up with his record of following through on knife orders!!!

I don't think that posting this to his future employer is appropriate.

S/F,
CEYA!

I wouldn't buy a product from a company that would hire Blade after all this and I think the company deserves to know this and have the opportunity to rectify it before they lose sales and become the laughing stock of the knife community because of it.

I wonder if he listed Mad Dog as a former employer on the job application. He would write an entertaining reference....

I guess the thing that I find a tad disturbing is how many of the BB posters on that thread seem so accepting of this. There seems to be a consistent sentiment of, "I know I'm not going to get my knife--oh well, move on" and dropping it there. I guess I would just like to see SOME level of outrage. Perhaps having seen how things have gone with Joe and others here, they are just not going to bother, but the overall impression just seems rather sedate to me. Ah well, different strokes for different folks, or blokes in this case.

There probably is outrage, but it is not being posted in that thread. The thread was started just so that members could know how many people are still owed knives. If it started to become a complaint thread it would probably be locked.

This is a country in the process of banning/outlawing KITCHEN knives. This is a country where it has become accepted fact that leaving the house with a knife makes you a potential criminal, and they want to slap yer butt in jail for FOUR YEARS for possession of same. I expect they are sedate in a lot of things...

If they truly voiced their anger/displeasure it would be tatamount to an admission to all on BFC that "I told you so" proved to be Gospel.

How can someone be happy or not concerned when they are the victim of a theft?

Unless them Brits are all wealthy............

I LOVE this statement over on BB from the new thread about Allan Blade.

"The other forum told us the truth"

:D

Maybe you are right, but here's my thoughts on this. Allan has not only shown that he is totally lacking in ethical and moral character, but if he is telling people that their knives will be done in a couple of weeks and to send the payment, and not sending the knive, he is commiting a crime. The fact none of the people that he is doing this to are having him charged does not make it all right. If I knew the business down the block from me was hiring someone that had done what Allan has, I would tell them. I think they have the right to know. If the company that is going to hire Allan is directed to this thread they can make a more informed decision as to whether he displays the character that they want in an employee. Maybe after reading this thread they will feel that he is being unjustly crucified, maybe not, but at least they will have the information in front of them. Allan made his bed, he should have to lie in it.

This of course could have a negative impact on not only Allan's ability to make a living, but on his family as well. That is a shame, but it is a shame brought on by Allan, not by the fact that a potential employer received an email directing them to this thread.

Its does not matter about his employer since I would be willing to bet allen is full of crap...there is no knife company job for that maggot.
