That main blade has seen some use, I like that about old knives, they were used! Nice find. I have a few new Catts gotta get some pics posted.

#21249 Jack dark brown bone no half stops- for reference 3 5/8th inches closed
#22689 Congress Pen, who was Mr. Rose? bone
#22479 Jack in bone half stops
#B2879 Slim Jack, clip and pen. I believe the B is for burnt bone (or bail or blue fiberloid). This may be a "Frankenstein", kicks were a bit high on the blades, brought down a hair, pics I could find had nail nicks on same sides with blade order switched. Pen blade identical to ones on my whittlers. Not certain, but great knife either way. Got it for a song and cleaned it up. [emoji4]

Excellent finds my friend !!!! I can remember seeing the Edward Rose Congress on the net , but none of the others. I am glad you saved it !!!
I believe that you are correct on the B for Burnt Bone .
Very nice to see your collection of Catts growing.
If I may ask , how many do you have now ????
Good Luck on the next one !!!

Just last Saturday I found the old Cat below that does not have the EO Notch . After I cleaned it up and was putting with my other ones , I noticed that it is physically the same size as the one with the EO Notch . They have the same basic frame and also the blades except the main blade of the EO knife Does Not Have a Nick. I found the EO knife back a few months earlier .

Super pruner, nice clean example. I admire those, but wouldn't carry, I like to collect items I can use daily. [emoji106]

Very nice Pruner Augie !!! It does not look like it was ever used .
The Cocobolo and the tang stamping still look almost new !!!
The kick is still pointed too .
Another great find for you John.
