Antique New York Knife Company Knives and Company History

I have spent a good portion of yesterday and this morning cleaning up this old knife. A picked bone New York Knife Company pre-Hammer Brand tang stamp, which I expect puts this Eureka Jack from the late eighteen hundreds to early nineteen hundreds. Rare to see a clip main on any Eureka Jack. Very good snap on the blades.
Both blades marked NEW YORK KNIFE Co., WALDEN. Three and five eights inches closed. 😊

Beautiful knife & pattern. All your labor paid off with another fine piece for us to enjoy.

Real nice NYK, Rob!!! Those older-style clip blades, with the curved-up "clip" hold something special!!! They make the modern straight-cut clips almost boring!!

Another beautiful knife with great photos. Thanks for keeping this thread alive Rob.

Thank you all. 😊
I love the New York Knife Company. They made some really fine knives ............ knives that have stood the test of time and use.
Most of the ones I have still work like they are not old at all. Wish I could say the same for myself. 😊
