Any Winkler fans?

As Smith and JJ both stated, basically the same knife, just different sizes with the exception being that the BK has a tapered tang while the BRH does not.

I have both and they are very similar knives. The BRH is smaller than the belt knife. I keep the belt knife in my hiking/camping bag and I use the BRH as my primary hunting knife. Easy answer is to get both!

I have a Crusher Belt knife and am considering an Operator.
If anyone has a Belt Knife and an Operator would you post a pic of them side by side with their spines together please? I’m trying to get a feel for the length compared to the Belt Knife.
In a separate pic I’d like to see their thicknesses compared.
And any input anyone has for the Operator would be appreciated.

SD1 (Blue Ridge Hunter JR lol) Tribal Walnut. Sooo nice. Had the choice of this or an SD2 Maple Tribal or a BRH Maple Tribal. Also a Dagger in Maple Tribal but not my favorite blade style.
Took an extra hour to get there though.

Logs everywhere so i was told. Ended up on about 25 miles of gravel/dirt mountain roads. Another forced adventure for the books.

I just thought of something. I love my original(first Winkler) BRH and now this SD1 is awesome and one of my everyday carry knives. So it’s only natural to want to fill it all in with a BK whopper! Ok i couldn’t resist lol.
I really don’t need a BK (the knife) as i have a FK (Field Knife) that is very useful and does everything a BK would be used for just a tad longer.
I do like the look of the Highland Hunter though.
Anyone have a HH?
Thoughts?
 
I've been curious about the Highland Hunter for a while as well, but honestly, my Woodsman pretty much does it all, so I haven't been able to justify getting a HH (yet).

If memory serves me (which is questionable...), I think ferider ferider might have picked up a HH a while back?

Yep. Can't get to it right now though, it's 1200 miles east of here. My CA Winkler is a Belt Knife, which is a little smaller. That logic makes sense, right ? :)

Ok checked out Sagewood gear and really like the adapters. What size do i get for the BRH and Field Knife as they measure the same? It’s says Small or medium which is weird as the sizes have overlap? I am more confused than normal? Please advise? ferider ferider thanks

Beats my prototype. Just did this quickly to see if it would work or if i would like it.
I have crap for leather tools. I can see i could lose all the leather below the top screws.
This can definitely benefit with a dangler for sure

Gonna order the Sagewood sheath system just not sure which size as I can’t reason how a size measuring 52-65 (medium) will fit a 55mm?

With the attachment being kydex, I'm guessing you can Dremel out the holes a little bit if needed.
