Anyone dealt with Jimmy Hadley in OK?

If you do have to go a legal route here, Pryor and Vinita are both small towns(luckily, I don't have to deal with either any more) and at least in Pryor, the cops(taht I've met) are very nice and easy to deal with. And being small towns like that, sure they know exactly where to find the guy.

There is NO "Jim Jr."

This is just a scammer with a twist, nothing more.

There is no birth or death records for a 'James Hadley Jr."

Looks like he has scammed lots of forums.....................

I just don't get the guy. If he were just scamming for money or valuable items he would be a crook looking to make some money in a crooked way, but the two on this forum were for $20 and $80 - hardly worth the trouble to dream up a scam. AND he's not even GOOD at it! :rolleyes:

there is a son and a dad or just one person?

Hey Sticknrun, I believe Wolfmann did some research, and came up blank on birth or death of Jim Jr. ( SO FAR ! ) If this yahooo don't quit trying to pee in my ear and tell me it's raining, I.., I.., I.., Well.., lets just say it won't be any fun for Mr. Hadley, Jr. or Sr. Yeeuw kno whud I meeen ?? :eek: :mad:
 
easy enough to tell if anyone has latest martindale hubbel. have them at office, but would have to go into one of lawyer's offices to look at them, and not sure I feel like doing that. if I could remember to check before they showed up would try that, but I ekeep forgetting.
 
Again, there is a lawyer by that name in that town. Either someone is using another's name or we have a lawyer engaged in dishonest conduct that is grounds for disciplinary action. (If the second, you have a candidate for the Darwin Award.) Moreover, if any of the items were sent by US Mails or payment sent by US Mails, we have potential mail fraud. Pull the trigger!

I called the oklahoma BAR asc. they say he is an attourney.

If you fill out a compaint form (print and snail mail) they'll look into it. They said it would take about 2 weeks. His Ok bar # is 17044.

Yep, he sent me a picture of DC receipt and paid receipt from PO . These can be faked also. Only time will tell. We'll see. :yawn: :rolleyes:

Wasn't the trade we had agreed on, but being the gentleman that my Momma would be proud of, I'm gonna give him another chance to make it right. He's been in pretty regular contact on the phone, and it seems like he's trying, so I'm giving him ONE more chance. If he blows it this time, I'm gonna ruin his day, to say the least!!
