I did last week.

I have been considering different Spyderco Exclusives recently. I finally pulled the trigger on a Cutlery Shoppe Exclusive Manix 2 with orange scales and S90V. Literally the same night I ordered the Manix not 2 hours later I was surfing Blade HQ and I saw they had the Kershaw Link in M390 and I immediately had to pull the trigger.

I don't normally buy higher end knives (for me that's around $100+) without tons of research and consideration but I couln't pass up on of my favorite knife designs in M390.

Nice bunch of knives and, as an avowed fan and owner of multiples myself, I really dig your Shiros. How do you like that HatiOn? I have the NeOn UltraLite, which is just extraordinary, and can't imagine a lighter version. It strikes me that if you opened your hand it would just float away.

Seeing is believing! I love the HatiOn. The weight savings are certainly nice but for me the biggest difference is the improved grip and feel of the carbon fiber scale. I also appreciate how they used the back spacer from the Lite as opposed the standoff from the UltraLite-even though I don't use a lanyard on my folders I like the craftsmanship that went into the lanyard hole.

I was a little torn when I bought my NeOn. I chose the UltraLite for the fully open-back construction (plus a little $ savings) but really like those of my other Shiros that feature the integrated backspacer/lanyard hole (111 and F3 Python). I don't think I'll ever give up my UltraLite, so the question becomes do I really need a CF NeOn too?

I am on a Buck kick lately, so most of my recent purchases have been $20-60. Maybe 9 of them in the last month, so not terrible.

The 6 months before that were brutal for my buying. Approx 50 knives and most were about $100.
