MSG Bob Horrigan was a top rate knifemaker that was killed in action in Iraq in 2003. He deserves much more respect than that flippant attitude of yours.
Your right and I apologize to anyone I offended
I feel REALLY bad now knowing he died serving our country
I think part of it is my frustration at not being able to afford "custom" knives

As an outside observer it seems like there are all these names floating out there:
Darrell Ralph
Chris Reeves
Ken Elgin
Etc...
Maybe one day I will appreciate the names better
Until then I will just have to chuckle when some guy posts "My new John Smith Alpha Bravo Charlie fixed blade will be here in 2 days!!!!....I can't wait...I had to take out a second loan to pay for it...Please don't tell my wife"
I was thinking of making a few custom Trent Rock Cutlery fixed blade knives MYSELF one of these days
I got my
Wayne Goddard's 40 Dolla' Knife Shop book at the ready!!

My friend once said "Sheeeeeet Trent...I can't see your lazy ass pounding hot metal in front of a forge!!!"
Brian Jones====>
No hard feelings bro
I went to bed fully expecting to be banned for "insulting" a moderator
But, I had to stand my ground
My point was that making fun of a guys
physical appearance was sorta childlike
The main reason I made my post was the fact that his address was published and there almost seemed to be veiled threats of physical violence towards Mr. Lightning===>"Maybe we should PAY HIM A VISIT"
I'm a paranoid guy by nature
That is why I collect guns and knives===>
I probably will never use them in a defensive manner in my life
But
"Just In Case" seems to be a motto I live by
Libby huh?
I think I made a post about my coordinates on the
"political compass" on this forum??
I actually align with Milton Freidman more than anyone else
I pretty much agree with most of The Libertarian Party's platform expect for the part of "closing all our foreign bases"
Which I think is ridiculous....
I do tend to get passionate about interfering with the free market
Isn't that ONE reason our fightin' men and women are over in Iraq?
To spread/preserve the concept of Capitalism/Democracy??
I always wonder how my posts are going to be received
I have gotten banned from more than one forum for stating my views
I really glad that BF respects the opinions of others and pretty much let's anything go within reason
(I get emails now and then telling me "I love your posts...Stand your ground Trent!!!...Keep em' coming!!....Those emails really make me feel good and is one of the reasons I continue to state my views in a civilized manner)
The fact that you guys allow cussing is part of the reason I love this forum
I'm most curious as to how many of you know who the guy in the picture is??
I first saw him on TV when I moved to So Cal
I didn't realize he was a legend in the creative marketing field until I saw his commercials
Campy, yet, effective
That being said===>
I do agree that making claims to be a military man to make sales is BS
Not that it really matters a whole lot, but, if the guy is modifying TOPS knives and claiming that he "made" them is also BS
He should be an honest knife peddler and say "it's a modified TOPS knife"
The first thing that came to my mind was the Hummer 3
It's really a "modified" Ford F-150 (I think the FRAME is a F-150 frame??)
Yet
Johnny "Weekend" Rambo will go to bed at night thinking the 70 grand he spent on his Hummer 3 was a bargain and he is driving to the local Mickey D's in something unique and custom.....
