I have checked and checked and asked and asked about "pro cell" and the best I could determine is that it is a freaking car battery!!:D:jerkit:

As for Cerebus 1::p

ok everyone, i been real busy in the shop since last night.

up for grabs:

this is a knife designed ONLY for Special Merk-OPS Tactical Death Squad Operators. It is triple heat treated to the power of nine, and made using only proprietary high grade unobtainium steel, which i'm not at liberty to discuss,(due to national security reasons). It is designed to ventilate and de-animate the enemy, using a stroking slash and a hip thrust. The middle spear point is a poison gas/flamethrower sprayer, activated by rubbing the shaft.

the sheath is designed to be mounted on your Special Merk-OPS Tactical Death Squad Operator BATTLE MOLLE/ALICE kevlar helmet, to intimidate the enemy into thinking that you are an alien mercenary.

$2000, not including shipping or sharpening

TESTIMONIALS:

hi, i'm a certified Special Merk-Ops Death Squad Operator, i can ttell you where i am for tactical Security reasons, but lemme just say that i bought one of these knives and it does the job as the maker said it would. I spend most of my time dealing with the enemy in the field, and this knife ventilates them and de-animates them exceptionally well. I chose the option of having it sharpened and boy its sharp.

John Stroker, Professional Special Merk-Ops Death Squad Operator

hello, i'm writing this to praise the Special Merk-Ops Death Squad Operator combat knife. I am a certified Special Merk-Ops Death Squad Operator, deployed in a top secret location of the world. I cannot talk about what i do, but i was allowed to talk about the Special Merk-Ops Death Squad Operator BATTLE KIT upgrade (CAMEL SPIDER COMBAT ROBOT). we use these in the battle zone and its pretty cool to see them scamper ont he sand and climb up the enemy combatants legs, and then ventilate their lungs and de-animate them. Thank you for a great product.

That was grrrrrrrreat! It is I who now owe you a round of beers!

"Over the past several decades I have worked as a Tactical
Operator in one capacity or another"
J. lightning.

He does claim to be an "operator" so this pretty much amounts to claiming military service. He is just conveniently non specific about it

unless he worked at a tactical special forces call center of course :D

Anyone can claim to be an Operator, Tactical, Expert, or any number of generic military terms, it might make them look stupid but is not a crime nor would it get someone listed as a phony on POW Network. He would have to make specific claims to be Army or Marine, or refer to a job specialty that he could not verify by producing DOD Documentation.

As far as the knife being Tactical, I would have to disagree. It would probably be fine for a one day fishing trip to a local pond not more than a mile off a paved road but that would be about all I would consider it good for.:thumbdn:

I can say this without a doubt, this is not the knife you want to use to cut your way out of any rescue scenario that I could imagine getting into and I have been in a few and trained for worse than I have ever seen.

I gotta admit the website made me chuckle. In an industry where sales can be made by exaggerated claims and BS, I guess it doesn't surprise me that someone takes the BS claims of performance, steel, and heat treating to another level. I'll give him a credit for imagination, and not trying to make his knives look better by badmouthing others, though he makes claims that even the most outspoken knife importers wouldn't (or haven't thought of yet). I'd like to see the rockwell & CATRA test results for one of these. It would be worth another chuckle, I'm sure.

Well its got to be at least a rockweel hardness of 70...I mean, if you pay the extra monye to get it heat treated 3 times...lol....:D

There is nothing sinister about saying you are an "Operator". heck, I was an Operator for many years with a very elite unit; the name "Con-dum leaked 2X":eek:

And yup we all carried this knife, some carried 5 or 6 of them!!!:D

During many missions we teamed up with Pro cell Cerebus 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 555, and the most elite Cerebus of them all Cerebus 987,776,343,445 (You should see their shoulder patch:eek::eek:)

During one daring encounter in a side parking lot at the Mall we encountered several Bad actors and had to dispatch them silently. J. Lightning led the way of course:rolleyes:
Whata hero.....................:p:p:jerkit:

JLightweight is:
a) a lying con-man
b) self-deluded and/or just totally nuts
c) incredibly stupid
d) Got kicked in the head by a horse as a kid, and has been "off" ever since

Or any combo, or all of the above.

Members of the Spanish Inquisition,

Hi, I’m back. But only for a second, and ONLY because I received a very generous offer from one of you, NCO Martinez.
Mr. Martinez has graciously suggested sending him a Razr for impartial testing, he thinks he’s qualified. He may be, but not for a free Razr.
I don’t know how much clearer I can make this, “I don’t care what you think!”
Only because you’ve attacked me, my stuff, even my home (what’s that got to do with anything?!?!?) and continue to so without provocation.
I stood up for myself and our stuff as anyone who takes pride in what they do and from what I’ve been told, you all got angry as hell!
Well, I guess you can dish it out but God forbid someone stands up to you.
You guys are like a lynch mob, going around speculating everything from one thing to another, from where I live to God knows what!
And again, I heard nothing about anyone from your group ever picking up a Razr, much less using one.
I sincerely gave consideration to contacting and obtaining permission from several or many of our military personnel using a Razr, to send you their contact info, but you guys discredit everything and everybody and say “I checked into it.”
So, what’s the point, I can’t win, you’ve already discredited customer briefs available, current servicemen, good people.
Just so you decent, unknowing, good people in this forum can draw your own fair judgment, find below a real, unbiased, professional field test from Tactical Knives, November 2006. A great magazine, I might add, or are you going to discredit it and Steven Dick too?
Guess you scam-screamers missed this little 4-page test article?
Maybe now everyone reading this will see and realize that the people screaming “scam” really have no idea about what they are talking about concerning anything, people or gear.

P.S.: I especially like the part about chopping through barb wire in the article, but there’s other good points. I suppose that’s a scam, too …

It was a pleasure!

Um, next time you make up a new username to post, could you answer some of the questions asked of you?

Mr. Peters,

That was a little more reasoned response than your previous one. However, if you are using your military background to sell knives, then please tell us -- with whom were you an "operator?" That word is only used for elite special operations units. So you are telling us you have a background in SOF?

Next question: Did you build this knife from scratch? I already know the answer, but curious to see if you will be straight for once.

Your first response was very dramatic, and its a nice attempt at distraction, but you still have evaded the central questions as I wrote here in both of your posts.

That knife is a TOPS, reground by you. "HAND FINISHED." That's the only truth on your site. TOPS built it, you cut holes in it and finished it. If I'm wrong, show us pictures of your shop with the blanks et al if you build them from scratch. Either way, most of that knife is a TOPS design. Not yours. No wonder the soldiers might like it. TOPS' quality is outstanding. Even if you built it from scratch yourself, you only modified someone else's design. Nothing more. Most people give credit where it's due, and pay royalties.

Steven Dick has an excellent reputation, but even editors can be fooled by charlatans. So far, the burden of proof is on you, because your site and knife lack and credibility.

Your prices are way out of line. $299, as mentioned in the article, is closer - with the sheath included. But if you are buying a TOPS knife at retail, no wonder you have to mark it up so high. The people on this forum are your knife-buying public. I remain unconvinced. So do they.

Now, if anyone has been coming to your house or bothering you, please email me and let me know who, or if they are part of this forum. And call the police if people are lurking around. It's one thing to arrange a meeting between men and discuss, but if people are threatening you or tresspassing in any way, that's going too far.

John, believe it or not, we WANT to believe in you. We wish we could. But you make it impossible without answering the questions.

Edited to add: Robert H, the Survival Sheath Systems maker, held your knife. Then you went and stole his brand name, but just juxtaposed two words.
