So, you self-proclaimed “experts” have any real survival experience, or background at all, and I don’t mean a weekend survival school?
What exactly is your experience?
Do any of you geniuses have any first-hand knowledge of our gear? Or even second-hand?
While I don't claim to be a "genius," I don't have any first-hand experience with your gear. I like to get the most for my money, not the other way around. The only second-hand knowledge of your gear I have is having read Steven Dick's review of the Razr knife in Tactical Knives magazine.
I’ve had enough field experience not to judge any equipment before I’ve spent at least a week or better in the weeds with it.
Well, there are plenty of weeds around my yard, but I don't think spending a week in them with your knife would help me justify paying what I feel is far too high a price for the product. Do you offer a money back, satisfaction guarantee?
What qualifications do any of you have? None, I bet, for the reasons I’ve just stated.
Well, I have handled the similarly styled Tracker knife, the Timber Pig, and several WSK style knives, none of which I was "sold" on.
The only opinion that I value is from professionals, not wanna-be’s.
What kind of "professional" do you mean? Please be specific. Do you mean "professional" Military, LEO, Firefighter/EMT, Instructor, Nurse, or Digital Data Technician?
You guys need some real experiences and maybe you’d have something real to talk about.
Please stop being so vague. What do you consider a "real experience?" For all I know, I may have had one or two of those, if of course you are talking about experiencing having to cut something with a knife. Using a knife to cut/chop, is the only "real experience" I can think of that is really pertinent to a knife related discussion like this, and I'm sure almost everybody here has that "experience".
We get feedback from real men, soldiers that put their life on the line every day, sending us letters about combat encounters, using our Razr in combat, as entry tools, popping windows and doors, using it to break seat brackets to free trapped gunners that have the side of their armored vehicle caved in on them, and they had to be extracted with the chair, etc. ….
Do you know of any photographs or videos that exist with your product being used by the above mentioned people, and would you kindly produce some or provide a link where they can be seen?
We send boxes of field munchies to theses men, with their gear, and they send us souvenirs and letters of thanks for our tough gear and support to our troops.
Care packages are a great way of showing support to our troops, I agree.
These are real professionals, maybe you should send them some of your third-hand opinions and see what they think.
Do you offer a discount to any of these "real men" and "professionals?" I didn't happen to notice one offered anywhere your website.
I am so tired of runny-nosed wanna-be’s, I could scream, and it makes me ill.
What was your non-wanna-be, "professional experience" again? Your bio information on your website is kind of vague, though it says you were an "operator."
You all don’t have what it takes to be real field operators, or you would be, so the best you could do is stay in the comfort of home and try to impress everyone with your banter.
Once again, please stop being so vague. What specific occupations/MOS's do you think qualify one as a "real field operator," and how exactly were you/are you one?
You know, it’s sad and even pathetic that you waste your time (and other people’s) hiding behind a computer, insult and ridicule someone and something you know nothing about at all.
Well, Mr. Lightning, we are talking about knives, are we not? And this is the biggest knife discussion forum on the net, is it not?
You can’t afford my products, so you sit behind a computer and gossip like old ladies in a sewing circle. Really guys, take a look at yourselves!
I don't really think it is a question of being able to "afford" your products, as I personally have a few custom knives that cost much more than most of your products. I think it is more a question of being able to justify the prices you are asking. I don't think your products offer any functional advantage over other knives that are much more affordable.
I don’t have to ask any of you what any of you ever designed, invested in, or had the initiative to develop, ever, much less built with your own hands. Dumb question, I already know the answer: absolutely nothing.
Know why? Because you can’t, plain and simple. That’s why you’re doing what you’re doing right now.
That is pretty impressive! You must not be aware that several makers post here (heck, some have posted in this thread).
