I just wish you could feel my gut when she e-mails me to tell me that my 8 year daughter came to her crying telling her "I MISS MY DADDY" I hurts man. My rank is non of your concern, but if you must know I just made SGT, and believe me I am rolling in the cash! I was selling the BATAC because I can't tap my home funds. Remember I still have a house payment 2 car payments, insurance, utilities and the trips to the grocery store and that's just basic stuff. MAN your really suck! I will tell the GOOD PEOPLE HERE THAT I AM WILLING TO REFUND EVERY CENT IF MY INTEGRITY IS IN QUESTION! We are trying to raise enough money to put a damn roof that want leak on a mud hut for a family here. Now the secrets out! Sorry to all you good HOG's out there for my rant. I had to say something.

Don't give it another thought. leopardprey has already been called to the door, and I believe it's currently hitting him on the ass as he heads out.

Your team is doing a good thing, and I for one am more than happy that a few of my bucks might help out a little bit. :thumbup:

I can see why you had a hard time walking around with a $300 knife on your belt.

recon thank you for letting me take part in your companys mission it is truly an honor to help . im sorry i only had 20$ to give. it must be hard not seeing your kids and watching all those kids cought in the conflict over there. you are turly a noble person.
 
Recon... you and those like you are truly the best of America. I am happy you are keeping the knife.

Don't worry about leopardprey... the rest of us are perfectly willing and able to help at a moments notice. Just give us the word when you need help over there... I think you will find that you will have overwhelming support from the American people back here at home.

I REALLY DON'T WANT YOU TO KEEP SENDING MONEY. I AM OVERWHELMED AT EACH OF YOUR GENEROSITY. BUT PLEASE NO MORE. I HAD AN AMOUNT THAT I WANTED TO REACH BY SELLING THE BATAC I HAVE REACHED IT PLUS SOME. AS I SAID YOU HOGS ARE AWESOME. I told Progunner that this type of thing can be somewhat difficult to pull off, the corruption and down right willingness to steal on the part of some of the Afghan contractors make this hard to do. So with a little luck and working with the right people, I think we can make this happen. We helped get a well put in back in August.

recondo4u, you might want to request that Progunner or another moderator remove your email addy from your BATAC FS thread... As long as it's there, we're going to want to continue to help you achieve your goal even though you have asked us to stop sending funds... Is there anything ELSE we can send to you for these families? Perhaps we could send some warm clothing, blankets, bedding, etc.? I have seen your pix, and am touched... And am struggling with the emotions brought forth seeing what war can do to children. I imagine that many others who have seen or will see these, feel the same way & would really like to do what we can to help you help them.

I'm grateful that people such as yourself, and those who are serving with you, are who America has representing our beloved Nation abroad. Today YOU have given us a very big reason to stand up & say, "I'm PROUD to be an American!", and I THANK YOU and your whole UNIT, and ALL of you serving over there for bringing us a small piece of the reality of "Embracing The Suck", because we need to be constantly reminded that FREEDOM is NOT free, and that your sacrifices are HUGE. You & your unit, sir, have much honor & nobility. Thank you for sharing the images, and allowing us to help in this very small way.
