poor little red fox LMAO, also seen otter, badger, racoon, coyote, mink, seal and walrus.
Walrus is the real expensive one, some of the others are under 10 bucks, but im not sure what you could do with this LOL... poor poor little fox....

I used to know a guy who picked his teeth with a raccoon penis.
No, No, No.
Apparently very popular among bear hunters.
That's one of the few things I don't like about TN... nearly every park and landing I've been to is posted "No Alcohol". WTF? In WI you're pretty much expected to bring a cooler full of beer to any park or lake/river. They'll give you a DUI ticket for boating like an idiot (and rightfully so) but not just for sipping a beer on the dock :grumpy: It's a real pain to keep going back to the car to re-fill your Hardee's cup
Also, I've had my fishing license checked more times in a few outings here than I did in 30 years of fishing in WI. So if anyone's planning to come to E. TN to fish, don't even think about violatin'... the wardens around here WILL check you.
Sounds like a plan! I do recall my good friend Weaponeer mentioning he has a knife with petrified mastodon tusk for the scales. Can't remember which custom maker did that for him, but believe it cost him a few dollars...

I've actually gotten distracted and have been browsing your sub-forum....better post this while it's still relevant.
My custom knives were made by my man, Johnny Stout, down in New Braunfels, TX.

Most state and national parks around here say no alcohol too, but they dont check or enforce it unless your being an a$$hole. I have had one of the rangers drive up and see me drinking a beer and i had a bottle of crown on the picnic table. He stopped got out and shook my hand, i could of sworn he was going to kick me out or give me a ticket. But no, he got out said the burgers on the fire smelled good, i offered him one, he said no thanks and then told me have a great time and left. I was confused why he even stopped, But it seems like he was just being friendly. And sadly i dont see that up north too much. Down south the rangers would always stop and bull$hit but here they just drive by unless there is a problem.
Normally if i think there might be a problem, or if im around a bunch of other campers ill just fill a soda bottle with crown and keep a flask in my pocket too for refills.
GSO, you ever seen mammoth tooth/teeth scales?
Google mammoth tooth knife scales, there are some amazing examples. I only ever seen them on some Busse models but google image has them on lots of knives.
You sure? I imagine it would be very effective. You could! im not sticking that thing in my mouth. LOL
Wonder if he did anything else with that raccoon penis.I used to know a guy who picked his teeth with a raccoon penis.
Wonder if you could whittle one down and fit it into the sak space for a toothpick.I knew a guy when I was stationed in Germany who went back to the US for a black bear hunt and came back with the bone(r) and used it as a toothpick. Apparently very popular among bear hunters.

Not in person. Weaponeer has some Siberian mammoth ivory scales on one of his Johnny Stout knives...maybe he'll post up a photo. I'm trying to guilt him into it now...
that's a beautiful folder there indeed!Weaponeer was having some technical issues, so I've got a couple of his photos here.
This one is his wife (seen here before using a BK6? cable-tied to a 10/22 as a bayonet) with an unprocessed section of mammoth ivory in Johnny Stout's shop.
And here is the finished knife....very nice...maybe he'll host a GAW? haha!!
