Quoted your own words, maybe I'm reading it wrong, but what else would explain why you are so bitter on a $20 knife? Literally, almost every post in this thread, you say it's a $20 knife. It is a $20 knife, that's why this thread was posted in the first place, LOL.

Some think it is a value at $20, and obviously others think it is priced "appropriately" and yet others claim it is junk. These opinions apply to about every knife brand on this website regardless of the price.
Not only are you reading it wrong, you are quoting out of context which is spreading missinformation. Read post #4.

Sounds like you should be posting this elsewhere as this has turned from a knife specific discussion to continued personal comments.
Don't think you are helping to keep this thread on track , either . Mostly you have posted about being insulted or misquoted or other concerns about yourself . Got anything new regarding the actual topic ? PLEASE !

And you posting about me posting about others posting is doing what for your topic exactly?

The decepter I bought was fine. Worth the money for sure. At the time I even thought it was a screaming deal. As time went on, I carried and used other small fixed blades much more. The value I thought was there wasn't realized. As it turns out it was worth the 20ish bucks I paid. And it wasn't worth keeping to me.

Thank you ! I don't have that one . IIRC the Decepter looks more like a fighting / SD style than utility and I believe it's bigger than most of their other FB . Their sheaths are generally good but set up for vertical carry only unless modified somehow . Retention is very high , no problem to carry inverted .

I believe I modded the sheath to increase retention. It wasn't enough for me from factory. No big deal. I do that to most kydex/plastic sheaths.

I think at this point we are plenty off topic and have been for at least 2 pages I'm surprised the thread isn't closed.

Received the Yokai yesterday. I like the blade profile, this one had a serious case of lock stick that I had to correct, other than that I like the knife and no other issues.

 Uh oh ! What did you have to do to fix your lock stick beyond some lube and loosening the pivot ? I might get mine delivered before the New Year , so I need to know if you have a special fix . ;)

I'm asking for an exchange first, neither of my other two BB folders have any lock stick. This stick is really bad, beyond any reasonable user repair IMO, so back it goes for another one or refund and re-buy.

I had the Raiju and I have another fixed blade model (can't remember the name) and they are two of the most ergonomic knives I've ever had, handle wise. I hate the steel so they are just beaters, but if they were in something better they would be go-to fixed blades for me. I even tried to contact Kendrick to get a custom, but no response.

Just curious : did the steel fail to perform somehow or did you just want a specific type ?

I didn't have time to read this entire thread.

Bad Blood Knives are appropriately priced in the $20-30 range. They're an acceptable substitute if looking at a Chinese Kershaw but want a more over-built knife, although that "over-built" may be nothing more significant than added weight.

I bought into Bad Blood Knives when they weren't appropriately priced and as a result I have a Dreadnought, a Partisan and a Spiraling Demise that live unused in a junk knife bag.

If you enjoy them, I wish you the best. Please understand that they ARE a $20 knife. You're not in possession of some secret Zen of the knife world. You do the Knife Community a disservice when you carry on like you've been blessed with the Holy Grail.

I could get the same thing at a gas station or flea market. There ARE better choices for most knife users in the same price range.

Use your knives in good health!

Good to have the final word from an obvious expert ! You say you've handled these knives but it doesn't sound like it . What specific shortcomings did you discover in use ? I just hear very generic cheap knife criticism and snobbery . I'd like to see some pics of your well used BBK's with some specifics on their failure to perform . Otherwise , talk is cheap !

Also , maybe you SHOULD take some of your precious time to actually read the thread before commenting ? Nowhere is anything said about zen or grail . I have related specific pros and cons from my experience . You just came to :poop: .

No, when I :poop:, it's much bigger than you and can't be missed.

I gave 2 cents worth of commentary on $20 knives. Nothing more, nothing less. I offered experienced observations and ended with best wishes for "BBK" fans. Too bad you couldn't do the same. It's almost as if you question my honesty?

Pictures? I barely have time to take crappy pictures of knives I love. If you want crappy pictures of knives I merely confess to own, you'll need to take up a collection ;).

Seriously, do the math though. Knife Center ain't no fools...if they can afford to sell you Bad Bloods for $20...what does that tell you...?

...Other than the fact you seem way too defensive about a $20 knife. Dude, hold you head up and enjoy what you bought! You don't need to make us like it for you to like it too!

Beyond this I REALLY don't have more time to spend on a flea market knife.

Enjoy your knife and Happy Holidays!
