Bad experiences with BladeGoblin

Kris_Robin and I have done business before and all was smooth sailing. If memory serves, I believe we worked our deal through one of his buddies in the states as I do not ship internationally anymore. Given our past dealings, I asked Kris how this deal was shaking out and it's still apparently kind of where it was when things started 2 plus months ago.

No knives and no refund. :thumbdn:

BladeGoblin, what is it that you are doing to get this situation rectified? You posted that you are handling things from your end, but you never did post what it is that you are doing.

Keith, the last time I checked you weren't a moderator.

What does being a moderator have to do with asking you what you are doing about the original posters problem? You are the one that stated that you were taking care of things, but kristopher_robin doesn't seem to have a knife, a refund, or any explanation from you as to why that is the case. Many here seem to think you are a standup guy. I am not one of them. If you wish I will be glad to explain to everyone here why I feel that way.

Anthony,

Don't step on your dick.

I'm not a mod, do you want to be flip with me?

Keith has a LONG standing tradition, that predates both of our presence on the Forums as taking these kinds of situations to the end, one way or the other.

Either answer the question, or ignore it, but don't play cute, it is beneath you.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Gentlemen, thank you all for your attention. I think, both parties (me and mr. BladeGoblin) are satisfied now. He has received money, I have received experience. Let`s finish this discussion.
Regards,
Artem.

We don't close threads much on Bladeforums. You may be satisfied after a fashion, but others are still entitled to express their thoughts.

Hi Steve, actually, that is where he resides, so it's normal.

As of a hour ago, Artem has still not heard anything from Anthony aka BladeGobbler in this matter- not a word.

Also, hats off to Keith for looking after this - it's not his knife nor his deal but he is standing up and working on this.

Neil

BladeGoblin posted that he was looking into things from his end, and I wanted to know what it was that he was doing. He didn't get insurance and he didn't get a tracking number, so what the heck is it that he thinks he can do?

From what I have gathered, the only options BladeGoblin has are to send a refund, to not send a refund, or to try to work out some sort of compromise. He should contact Artem and try to get this thing worked out. The fact that he has not communicated anything to Artem says volumes, in my opinion. What has been stated over and over again on this forum is that communication is critical.

After 2 plus months, I think BladeGoblin's silence is his message to Kris.

Until he settles this matter to Kris's satisfaction, this thread likely belongs in the new Hall Of Shame. I'd be coming out of my skin if I paid somebody nearly $200 and ended up completely empty handed with no communication or solution in sight.

I suppose these knives could still be in transit, and that Artem will eventually get them, but how long is he supposed to wait? The right thing to do would be to work this out with the buyer, but for some reason BladeGoblin isn't willing to do that. I guess he figures that his reputation from past dealings will see him through this, and he doesn't have to worry about messed up deal.

WHich is too bad cuz here you're only as good as your last deal. I think it's unfortunate that Anthony won't step up as I'm another guy that had good dealings with him in the past. After seeing him let this guy hang with NO correspondence at all leaves me wondering if he'd had done the same to me if the positions were reversed. I hope Anthony comes through in the end but I wouldn't be happy either in the meantime.:(
